The new ‘born-electric’ SUV will be Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car in India and will be called the e Vitara. Once launched it will rival the likes of the Curvv EV, upcoming Creta EV and the Mahindra BE 05.
The Maruti Suzuki e vitara will go on sale in India in March 2025 following its debut at the Bharat Mobility Show in January 2025.
Just like its concept iteration, the production-spec e VItara boasts a bold design with sharp cuts and creases, giving it a strong road presence.
Inside, the new e Vitara gets a premium cabin with a sophisticated dashboard layout and a dual-screen setup for the infotainment system and instrument console. The new dual-tone tan-black colour scheme further complements this premium look.
In addition to the strong looks, the new e Vitara also boasts a long list of bells and whistles when it comes to features and tech. The car gets features like electronic parking brake, drive modes, single-zone climate control, wireless phone charger, heated mirrors, ADAS, sunroof, and more.
