Introduced in the global markets last year, the new-gen Renault Duster is one of the most talked about upcoming SUV in 2025 and was recently spied in India for the very first time.
Based on the brand’s latest CMF-B platform, the new-gen Duster is one of the four SUVs developed by the Renault-Nissan alliance for multiple markets including India. Set to make its Indian debut soon, the new Duster will be heavily localised for the Indian market and will boast a modern and muscular styling.
In addition to the all-new platform, the new-gen Duster features a bold and muscular styling dominated by an aggressive front profile, high-ground clearance and connected lights setup. Inside too, the new Duster gets an updated dashboard layout with premium styling elements, dual-screen setup for the infotainment and instrument console, automatic climate control, sunroof, wireless charger, electrically adjustable front seats, and more.
Unlike before, the new-gen Duster is only offered with petrol engine options including the same 1.3-litre HR13 turbo-petrol engine which was seen in the previous-gen Nissan Kicks. This engine delivers a peak power output of 156hp and will be offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options. The entry-level variants might also get a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine.
To be positioned as a direct rival to the SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and Toyota Hyryder, the new-gen Duster is expected to make its Indian debut in the second half of 2025.
