What happens if I don't like my car when it is delivered?

We understand that buying a car is an important decision. That is why when you're buying a car from CARS24, it’s ok to change your mind. If you don't like the car in 7 days, return it and get a 100% refund, just like anything else you order online.

How does the 7-Day Return work?

Drive the car for 7 days to make sure it meets your requirements. If, for whatever reason, you're not satisfied with it, drop an email to [email protected] within 7 days of your car delivery date to initiate the return process.

The CARS24 team will do a quick check to ensure that the car is in the same condition as it was at the time of delivery and then initiate the return. Once all details are verified, the refund will be processed within 3 to 5 working days.

What are the terms and conditions for the CARS24 7-Day Return?

7 Day Return is only applicable for return requests raised within 7 days of delivery. It's not applicable if the car is modified/altered from the condition delivered or damaged due to an accident or has missing parts. To be eligible for the refund, the car must be in the exact condition as during delivery. The CARS24 team will re-inspect your bike during return before initiating a refund.

Note: Cars that have clocked more than 500 km from the delivery date are not eligible for return.

When will the payment be processed if I return a vehicle under the 7 Day Return?

The refund is initiated within 3 to 5 working days if the car meets all the above-mentioned terms & conditions.

Can I choose to buy another car after I return my car under the 7-Day Return?

On processing your return under the 7 Day Return, you can choose to buy another car from CARS24. We would love to deliver another vehicle to you. However, you can return only 3 cars for a full refund under the 7-Day Return.

What will be the mode of refund payment?

All refund payments will be made electronically to the buyer's account, irrespective of the payment mode you chose at the time of purchase.

What if there is an item or an accessory missing at the time of refund pick up?

In case of a missing part or item, we will deduct the respective amount and refund the rest of the payment. CARS24’s technical team reserves the right to decide on the deduction amount for the missing part/item from the car.

What if I face any issue with my car after 7 days of delivery?

All our cars undergo rigorous technical inspection to make sure they are delivered in top condition to you. In case of an issue with the cars after 7 days, you are covered under a 24 month or 40,000 kilometres, whichever is earlier.

Car Delivery

How will I know if my scheduled pick-up or delivery is confirmed?

After the purchase process is complete, we will call you to confirm your delivery and pick up details.

What happens during the car delivery?

A CARS24 Fulfillment Expert will meet you at the delivery time, verify your Emirates ID, get the delivery receipt signed, and hand over the car, keys, and its documents.

How long will my delivery or pick-up appointment take?

We generally expect your pick-up or delivery process to take about 30 minutes.

Do I have to be available at pickup or delivery, or can someone collect the car on my behalf?

Yes! You will have to present at the time of car delivery or pickup and present your Emirates ID for verification.

Do I need to show a form of ID when my car is delivered?

Yes, you will need to present your Emirates ID at the time of delivery.

What items/documents will I receive with the car?

Your car will include all items/accessories mentioned on our website. Additional items, such as an owner's manual, spare keys, etc., will be included if and only if it was present when CARS24 purchased the car.

You will also receive the Sales Agreement, Sales Contract, Invoice, Registration Certificate (RC/ Mulkiya), Warranty Booklet and Insurance Certificate.

Documentation, Insurance, and Ownership Transfer

What documents will I be required to submit during the purchase process?

You will need the following documents at the time of purchase:
For Full Payment:

For Financing:

4. Salary Certificate (if salaried)
5. 3 months bank statement (if salaried)

If needed, any additional requirement as per the RTA norms or Bank requirements will be communicated by our team.

Do I need to buy new insurance for my car?

CARS24 will purchase Comprehensive Insurance on your behalf through a third party insurance provider. In case you have any specific requests with respect to insurance type or insurance provider, you can convey the same to your Relationship Manager during the purchase process.

How does registration/ ownership transfer work?

CARS24 will take care of the entire RTA registration process for you. We will get all the relevant documents from you during the purchase process and complete the registration at the RTA.

How much will you charge for ownership transfer?

We charge a basic RTA fee for ownership transfer. The cost depends on the RTA as well as whether a new traffic file is required to be opened or not. Our team will share the exact amount during the purchase process.

Can I get my vehicle's registration transferred myself?

We are experts at providing end-to-end services when buying or selling cars. It is mandatory to get the car transferred through CARS24.

How does Warranty Work?

All our cars come with a complimentary 24-month or 40,000 kilometres (whichever is earlier) service warranty to make sure you don't spend a penny on repairs and maintenance post-purchase. The warranty covers vital parts of your car based on a comprehensive inspection report.

Is the warranty chargeable?

No, CARS24 is offering a complimentary warranty for a period of 24 months or 40,000 Kms, whichever is earlier.

What is not covered under warranty?

Warranty applies only to the parts mentioned in the Warranty Booklet. Also, any accidental or consequential damages will not be covered under warranty.

I sold the vehicle I bought from CARS24 to my friend. Can he also avail of this warranty?

No, the warranty is non-transferable.

What precautions should I take to ensure the warranty remains valid?

For warranty to be valid, the buyer must ensure-
1. The car is serviced only at CARS24 authorized service centres.
2. Usage of genuine replacement parts during service and repairs.
3. All the service/repair bills to be kept handy in case of verification.

How to claim the warranty?

The car's listed price depends on several factors, such as:

Is the price of the car negotiable?

There is no need to negotiate on the price because we are 100% online and save on expensive rental/staff costs, thereby offering you the car at the best price.

What is the final price that I have to pay?

The final price of the car is calculated during the purchase process. It will include: the listed price of the car (inclusive of VAT), insurance price, registration charges (varies depending on the emirate), and other costs including any extras added, such as warranty upgrades. The shipping charge is applicable only if you opt for home delivery.

The website displays only the car's listed price and shipping charges. The remaining costs will be explained to you in detail by our dedicated Relationship Manager, assisting you with the purchase.

What if I don't like my car? Can I return it?

Write to us at [email protected] to initiate a return. The refund will include the price you paid for the car, including all charges like insurance, warranty, registration, delivery.

Select charges like new traffic file opening charges, loan processing fees, payment of any traffic fines (if applicable) will not be refunded.

Can I see the car before I buy it?

Yes, with our 360 view you can see the car inside and out, it allows you to check the car from every angle. You can see the finest details of the car's exterior, interior, features, and imperfections as good as real, using the 360 view technology. Other information such as the condition of the engine, transmission, tyres, etc. is mentioned on the detailed vehicle inspection report.

Can I test drive the car?

Yes, you can test drive the car on a special request. But with our 7-Day Return, you won't need it! Enjoy your car for a week instead of a test drive for a few kilometres!

Purchase Process

Why do I need to reserve a car?

You need to reserve the car by paying a booking fee so that we can retain the car exclusively for you from hundreds of other potential buyers for the next 48 hours.

What happens after I reserve the car?

The CARS24 team will review your booking details and get in touch with you. A dedicated Relationship Manager will assist you through every step of the purchase process. We will help you with the documentation, insurance, finance, warranty, payment, car registration and home delivery or pick up from our fulfilment hub.

I paid for reserving the car, but I do not want to proceed with the purchase. When will I get my refund?

If you don't want to purchase the car within 48 hours, your car reservation will expire, and you will receive a complete refund. The reservation amount will be refunded to your account through the original payment mode in 3-5 business days.

You can pay for the car transaction online. CARS24 accepts Bank Transfer, Net Banking, UPI, Debit card, or Credit card.

Can I get my CARS24 purchase financed?
