Hard to find something as fun as the Octavia vRS. Picks up speed like a proper sport sedan, steering is sharp, and the cabin stays practical for family too. Bit low on ground clearance for rough patches, but the drive is worth it.

Among all the cars on sale in India, my all-time favourites belong to the VW Group, particularly the Skoda Octavia. Octavia always feels like a smart choice for someone who wants comfort and a little performance without shouting about it. The cabin quality is rich, seats are supportive, and the engine pulls strongly on highways.

The Skoda Octavia Facelift feels classy, cabin looks premium and the drive is smooth. Rear seat space is a little tight for taller passengers, but overall it’s a smart family sedan.
