At CARS24, we ensure that every car you buy is as good as new! We’re quite picky about the cars we sell, so the very fact that you found your vehicle on CARS24 is a testament to its quality.

Every car is thoroughly inspected and passed a 150 checkpoint quality test, fully refurbished, and been stamped by our automobile experts as CARS24 certified. Drive with complete confidence as all our cars come with a complimentary 24 Months or 40,000 km Warranty.

To ensure the highest quality standards, every car in our inventory undergoes a rigorous three-step refurbishment process by spending an average of AED 2,000.

Step 1: Car Evaluation & Test Drive

Before we list any car on CARS24, we perform a thorough 140 point inspection. Our experts review the car’s mechanical, electrical and structural integrity and ensure the vehicle is non-accidental. This process is done objectively and not subjectively – we use tools such as a paint spectrometer, tyre tread gauge, and others.

Note: A car is said to be accidental if and only if the basic structure (chassis and fixed panels) are damaged due to impact or collision and are repaired or replaced to overcome the accidental impact. Since removable panels like doors, fenders, and bonnet do not form a part of the structure, any damage and subsequent repair or replacement to these is not considered ‘accidental.’

No matter how much we might inspect a car using tools, we truly get to know its condition only when we take it out for a test drive. We take each car for a spin and our experts keep an eye (and ear!) out for everything – tyres, brakes, suspension, drive train, under-chassis, and just overall feel of driving. Trust us, when you see a vehicle listed on CARS24, rest assured that it’s been comprehensively tested.

Step 2: Refurbishment

Each car is refurbished to as good as and thoroughly scrutinized to make sure they meet our quality standards. Here, we validate the engine, transmission, and the entire drive-train along with the electrical systems and safety systems. We ensure all our cars have no mechanical imperfections, any significant cosmetic imperfections are mentioned in the inspection report, so you know exactly what you are buying.

What are cosmetic imperfections?

  1. Scratches less than 3 inches in length
  2. Dents or dings are less than 3 inches in diameter
  3. Scuffs, stains & discolorations tend to be smaller than a thumbprint
  4. Minor paint touch-ups, and body panel repairs.

Repair work on these often includes minor paint touch-ups, additional detailing, buffing, and polishing to ensure your car looks as good as new!

Step 3: Post Refurbishment Quality Check

We weren’t kidding when we said stringent quality standards. We double check , just to be sure. This helps reduce human errors or catch something we might have missed out . We want to ensure that you can be 100% confident about each car’s drive quality, condition, and the listed information.

CARS24 Tyre Standards:

All working tyres of the cars you buy from CARS24 have more than 22% tread depth and is not older than 3 years and 9 months. Also the tyres have no uneven wear and sidewall damage.
