Having driven a Toyota for the past 11+ years, I am a fan of the reliability that Japanese brands bring with them. Although my first choice was Toyota, given the lack of options in this price range, Honda was my next choice. Honda City has been around the market for a considerable period and generation after generation, this car is a testament to the "reliability" factor that Honda is known for. 2. Engine: German brands (VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia) were in close contention. However, doubts regarding the long-term ownership costs of these cars (particularly related to DSG engines) and the fact that most of my drive would be in the city traffic, tilted the weight in favour of Honda City's naturally aspirated engine (the automatic variant)

Honda City is a nice family car meant for daily city commute and highway family trips. It feels safe and grounded. It provides you a nice escape from the plethora choicest of SUVs and hatchbacks. SUVs want to look butch and beefy and too high from the ground. Sedans on the other hand tend to be long, classy and poised. City is a comfortable ride, easy for your pocket. I am driving it since last 5 years now. Good to know that the cars manufactured by Honda post 2009 are E20 complaint. It's a relief to know, this speaks about Honda's proactive and deep engineering practices which Japanese car makers are famous for particularly toyota and honda. It was a nice video...

I am driving a Honda City manual for a very long and usually in city traffic, I get around 10-12 Kmpl of average but on highways if I cruise at 90 kmph I easilly get 17+ kmpl. Enough power for indian roads, and fun to ride car. After 3 years, still enjoying highway rides on my City.

I love city, specially it's performance and milage. Good comfort, space. In am owner since 2014. No complaints even on 2lakh kms

I have the 2014 Honda City Diesel with 6 Speed Manual. Drove it 88000 Kms in total upto now . Because got a Amaze Diesel 2nd gen in 2018 , completed the amaze's 89000 kms also . Both are superb in ride quality city is even better . Mileage is upwards of 25 on highway . Amaze gives sometimes 30 KMPL on tank to tank .while city is 25 KMPL

Its a wonderful car with very good engine quality in local it gives 13-14 avarage nd in long route it gives 19-20
