Among the myriad of cars available in India, my favorite is undoubtedly the Skoda Slavia Sportline 1.5 with the DSG gearbox. This car stands out for several reasons, making it an exceptional choice for both driving enthusiasts and everyday users. First and foremost, the Skoda Slavia has achieved a commendable 5-star NCAP rating, underscoring its exceptional safety features. It is equipped with six airbags, providing comprehensive protection for all occupants in the event of a collision. The robust build quality is evident in every aspect of the vehicle, offering peace of mind to drivers and passengers alike. Additionally, the LED headlamps provide excellent visibility during night driving, enhancing safety and confidence on dark roads. The inclusion of Skoda's (VW) TSI techNology is aNother highlight. This turbocharged engine delivers an impressive 148 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, making it a perfect blend of performance and ecoNomy. Coupled with the DSG, the driving experience is smooth and seamless, allowing for quick gear changes that enhance the overall driving pleasure.

Among all the cars currently on sale in India, my personal favorite is the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI with the manual transmission. It strikes a unique balance between driving pleasure, refinement, practicality, and premium feelqualities that are increasingly rare in today's market, especially in the mid-size sedan segment. What truly sets the Slavia 1.5 TSI apart for me is its enthusiast-friendly nature. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine delivers strong performance with a healthy dose of torque and excellent highway manners. Paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox, the driving experience is engaging and rewardingsomething I genuinely appreciate as someone who enjoys being in control of the car, not just riding in it. Aside from its powertrain, I admire the Slavia's clean European design, well-built interiors, and the fact that it doesn't compromise on space or comfort. Despite being a driver's car at heart, it still offers a comfortable back seat and a spacious boot, making it a practical family sedan as well.

Among all the cars currently on sale in India, my favourite is the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI DSG. It strikes a near-perfect balance between driving pleasure, practicality, and premium appeal. The 1.5L turbo-petrol engine offers segment-leading performance with impressive refinement, while the DSG gearbox delivers smooth and quick shiftsmaking it a true enthusiast's delight on both highways and twisty roads. What really sets it apart for me is the solid European build quality, confident handling, and understated design that ages gracefully. The spacious cabin, decent boot space, and safety features make it family-friendly without compromising the thrill behind the wheel. It's one of the few sedans that still celebrates the joy of driving in a market increasingly dominated by SUVs. While it may Not be the most affordable or fuel-efficient option, it represents a rewarding ownership experience for someone who values engineering integrity and driver engagement. For me, it's a car that connects emotionallysomething that numbers alone can't always explain.

My current favourite car on sale in India is the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI DSG. It strikes the perfect balance between driving pleasure, practicality, and understated European sophistication — something that's becoming rare in the age of SUVs and pseudo-crossovers. The 1.5 TSI engine is a gem. It offers strong low-end torque and a satisfying mid-range punch that makes overtaking effortless, both in the city and on highways. The 7-speed DSG may have its long-term reliability concerns, but from a sheer driving experience standpoint, it's crisp and intuitive. For an enthusiast who values smooth shifts and responsive performance, this drivetrain combination is hard to beat in its segment. What I also admire is that the Slavia hasn't compromised on space or comfort. The rear seat is genuinely spacious, the boot is large, and the ride quality is mature. The cabin feels airy and solidly built, without resorting to flashy gimmicks. In a market dominated by high-riding vehicles, the Slavia feels like a refreshing return to the fundamentals — a well-proportioned, dynamically capable sedan that puts the driver first. It may not win in features per rupee, but it wins in soul.

The Skoda Slavia 1.5 L TSI EVO - II 7 speed DSG, as my favourite car, and also my dream car, one day I want in my garage. The Reasons: 1. The car secured a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating for adult and child occupant. 2. The car is fun to drive. I have driven this car one time, and it felt solid and fun to drive. For car enthusiasts like me, the joy of driving means a lot. 3. This car is under the Volkswagen group. The car is tuner friendly, often beneficial for people who loves to drive stage 1, stage 2 or stage 3 tuned cars. Also, the brand offers quiet a good resale value. 4. The car offers decent features. A good infotainment system, with digital instrument cluster, and pretty good comfort. Being a tech-savvy individual, these features attract me a lot. 5. The boot space of nearly 520 litres is quite decent eNough for someone road-addict like me, who likes to carry their stuffs for the entire journey. 6. This car is one of the widest car on segment, offering a fairly good space inside the cabin. However, with the reducing markets for Sedans in India, it may Not give a fairly good resale value, but if we

Skoda Slavia is my favorite car currently on sale in India because it strikes the perfect balance between practicality, driving enjoyment and value for money. What truly sets it apart for me is the 1500cc TSI engine paired with the highly engineered DSG gearbox. It offers a level of performance and refinement that non in the segment can match. Whether you are cruising on the NHs or taking it through city roads, the Slavia feels grounded, responsive and fun to drive.

I have to say, the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI DSG feels like a smart choice that doesn’t try too hard. The turbocharged engine gives it enough punch to keep things interesting, but it’s also surprisingly fuel-efficient thanks to that cylinder deactivation technology—honestly, I’m not an expert on how it works, but it’s a nice bonus. The ride is smooth and confident, which I didn’t expect from a car in this segment. Inside, it’s clean and modern, with just the right amount of tech—not overwhelming, but definitely useful. Overall, the Slavia feels like a car that balances style and practicality without overdoing either, which is exactly what I like about the car. p.s: I managed to successfully influence a friend into buying one.

I personally like the Slavia 1.5 DSG Prestige variant. The 1.5 litre 4 cylinder TSI EVO direct injection engine is a pleasure to drive. The car is equipped with all the necessary features like automatic climate control, ventilated seats and of course the build quality which is too notch. The design language is pleasant to eyes with no sharp edges which is where the Koreans are heading to. The timeless design will keep the Kushaq fresh for longer period of time. The engines is so refined and can turn of 2 cylinders using Active Cylinder Technology helps in maintaining healthy mileage too. Overall it's a good car to have if someone wants to taste what European build feels like. I do agree that it is a step down in build quality when it comes to Octavia or CBU Superb but then the pricing of these models go almost 1.5 times to double of Slavia.

Slavia is my favourite. Its quality is unmatched. The drive is super smooth and comfortable for long drives. The 1 litre turbo engine is just wonderful and all this technology and luxury at such a reasonable price without compromising on quality and safety is amazing

It may not come as much of a surprise as I am lucky enough to own it; the skoda slavia 1.5L MT. I Was looking for a worthy successor to my dad's old skoda rapid 1.6l TDI and this was the only one that came close and surpassed some of my expectations in many ways. The engine refinement and pull, buttery smooth clutch and gearshifts, external looks and internal design are second to none out of all the cars I personally tested within the 15-20 lakh price range. There's a certain piece of mind and confidence I get while driving this car, the likes of which I haven't experienced in any other so far.

My favourite car on sale in India right now is the Skoda Slavia 1.0 TSI. It's fun to drive, looks great, and feels solid on the highway. I love how refined the engine is for a 1.0L. It punches above its weight and still gives decent mileage. It's a great mix of performance, comfort, and everyday usability. Perfect for someone who enjoys driving but still wants a practical sedan.

The car I'm genuinely in love with is the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI. It's not just a sedan, it's an experience. The way that turbo-petrol engine comes alive, the surge of power when the revs climb, and the grin it leaves on your face after every drive is addictive. In a time when SUVs dominate and the age of internal combustion engines is slowly coming to an end, the Slavia feels even more special.....like a final celebration of pure driving pleasure. It may not top sales charts, but for anyone who loves the feel of a strong engine and the joy of an open road, this car is nothing short of magic!!!

The suspension handles bad roads calmly and the cabin quality looks premium for the price. The turbo engine has good pickup, steering feels light in traffic, and the boot space is quite big for family trips. Even the touchscreen and features work nicely without lag.I felt slavia is good with respect to the ride, handling and features within the budget

Being a proud owner of the Skoda Slavia, it is my favourite too , the design language on the interior and the exterior speaks for itself. That punchy engine , Driving dynamics all makes it a fun to drive car. The TSI engine though giving low fuel efficiency is absolutely bonkers. I also own a skoda rapid 1.6 Tdi , torque output is just too good.

Buying Skoda Slavia this month and the test drive experience was awesome. Slavia offers a refined driving experience with its smooth DSG transmission. The cabin is spacious, and the ride quality is commendable. I am too excited for the the delivery of the car!!

For daily office runs and weekend fun, the 1.5 DSG feels perfect. Smooth gearbox, strong turbo kick, low cabin Noise. Only issue… the DSG gets a bit nervous in bumper traffic sometimes.
- AEAuto Enthusiaston 1st December 20255.0
The Skoda Slavia Manual feels smooth to drive, gear shifts are light and the engine pulls well. Only thing is the clutch feels a bit heavy in traffic.
- AEAuto Enthusiaston 17th July 20250.0
To be honest the best I could find in the market are german siblings. That's why I bought Skoda Slavia recently. Drove 300 km and it was the best experience. Superb torque and performance.
