My favorite Indian car on sale today is the Mahindra Thar. It perfectly balances rugged off-road DNA with modern creature comforts. What really fascinates me is its transformation over generations—from being a niche enthusiast vehicle to now becoming a lifestyle statement for adventurers and city dwellers alike. The Thar’s stance, the torque-rich diesel engine, and the sheer mod potential make it an icon. That said, I’m a proud new owner of a Maruti Baleno (OG sedan), and it has made me fall in love with naturally aspirated petrol engines and elegant old-school design. It’s what got me hooked deeper into car culture —and here I am, applying to be part of the most respected car community in India.

My favorite car at the moment is Baleno. The reason is it offers best of every world. I'm someone who prefer balance in things. Baleno feels like it offers balance. It is practical, economical, and fun to drive (not as much as Figo but still fun). It is designed well too. I wish we still had the RS or at least the Turbo as in Taisor/Fronx and I hope to see the Turbo in the facelift (fingers crossed). Baleno is also comfortable for rear seat comfort. It is a great family car and it is well balanced. The AMT is better compared the AMT in other cars but I think Baleno deserves a better automatic. I love the design and practicality.

Everything was great overall! However, since the Baleno’s height feels a bit low for me personally, I couldn’t find it very comfortable. It delivers an impressive mileage — around 22 to 25 km/l on highways and approximately 18 to 20 km/l in city driving, depending on style.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno's engine is smooth and refined, gives comfortable driving experience. It has large interior space also gives you luxurious feel.

The Maruti Baleno is spacious and easy on fuel 18–19 kmpl for me. Smooth in city jams, decent boot. Build feels light and highway stability could be better at high speeds. Overall a comfortable city car with a small family. I have a family of four, for me it's a green flag.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno is ideal car for me because it exemplifies first-principles automotive design for Indian conditions: ergonomic clarity, light controls, tight turning radius, and a smooth naturally-aspirated powertrain that delivers linear responses and excellent efficiency. Overall good car in the segment but safety are not good at all . And performance are good this are more quiet cabin and maintenance cost was very low. Thanks

Living with a BaleNo feels easy. Cabin is wide for a hatch, the steering is light in city roads, and mileage stays friendly even with AC. The suspension is soft eNough for bad patches, and the boot swallows weekend luggage. As an owner, it’s a simple car that does everyday work without stress.

BaleNo(2024) is my personal favourite and also I have one. This gets the powerful and refined engine with good reliability and can be used for the daily drive and in terms of safety the (BaleNo 2024) job gets done with bit improved safety features and increase in weight. But here the con is like whenever we drive the car we don't get that view from the windshield which the other cars get in its segment gets.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Sedan 2005 model Good experience - Looking very nice, seating is very comfortable, suspension is very smooth,leg room space is very comfortable, boot space is very nice, aggressive pickup and torque, body structure is very strong, and on road stability is very nice.sound is very nice. Bad experience - Milage poor, spare parts are very costly, spare parts are not available in the market, no airbag, ground clearance is poor, hydraulic steering is Little bit hard.

Car is very ergonomic, smooth and easy to drive. Neat and clean engine without absolutely zero flaws. I would like to sell it at 4.90 L

It's an excellent car to buy with lot of safety features and comes with comfortable, spacious and well equipped interior.

Baleno offers a spacious cabin, especially in the front seats. The materials used are of decent quality for its class. The rear seats, while roomy, could benefit from better cushioning. Ride comfort is generally good, although road noise can be noticeable at higher speeds.

Worth the money and good to buy in the Indian market making it one of the most prominent buys

Baleno comes with a good range of features, including a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. However, some might find the interface a bit dated compared to newer rivals.
