My 2018 Wagon R defines the way a car should be. Being A Maruti It never hassles when it comes to drive while giving a respected mileage of 19 kmpl i love to drive it.Effortless maintenance and peace of drive make it a perfect choice for me and my family. It never abandoned me. I will surely upgrade to a new wagon R

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR has built a strong reputation in the Indian market for its practicality, spacious interior, and excellent fuel efficiency. It's a reliable choice for families and individuals looking for a budget-friendly and low-maintenance car primarily suited for city commuting. While it may not offer the most exciting driving experience or the most advanced safety features, it delivers on its promise of being a practical and economical choice in the hatchback segment.

The Pros from an Owner's Perspective: Unmatched Practicality: The "tall-boy" design is not just a marketing gimmick—it’s the single biggest highlight for owners. They praise the excellent headroom, which makes the cabin feel incredibly spacious, and the ease of getting in and out of the car, a major plus for elderly family members. The generous boot space is also a frequent point of praise. Bulletproof Reliability & Low Maintenance: A common theme across reviews is the WagonR's legendary reliability. It's a car that rarely breaks down, and when it does, the parts are cheap and easily available thanks to Maruti's extensive service network. Owners report very low service costs, which keeps the total cost of ownership to a minimum. Fuel Efficiency: The WagonR, especially the CNG variant, is a mileage king. Owners report excellent fuel economy in city driving, which is a major factor for daily commuters. City-Friendly Driving: Its compact size, high seating position, and good visibility make it a joy to drive in congested city traffic. Parking is a breeze, and its light controls reduce driver fatigue. The Cons from an Owner's Perspective: Poor Safety and Build Quality: This is the most significant and recurring complaint. Owners are acutely aware of the WagonR's low Global NCAP safety rating and its lightweight build quality. They often feel a lack of confidence on highways due to the car's instability at high speeds and noticeable body roll. Basic Interiors: While functional, the interior is built to a strict budget. Owners note the use of hard, low-quality plastics and basic seat materials. Some owners also complain about the lack of adjustable headrests and a laggy infotainment system on some variants. Highway Performance: Beyond the safety concern, owners find the WagonR's performance on highways to be average at best. The engine can feel underpowered for quick overtakes, and the car gets noisy at speeds above 80-90 km/h.

WagonR - I love this car not because I drive but because of space and sturdiness and also fuel efficiency. I find car suitable for all weather and I have driven in some difficult situations also where other vehicles got struck including long drives (I have driven multiple times more than 1000 KM)

I bought my wagonr in November, 2021. It has recently completed 45000km and till now not a single engine check light or any kind of malfunction light came up. Also not a single rattling or squeaking sound from any part of the interior. Its a very low maintenance car. Power is average for the price. But for the negatives is the ride quality and suspension setup. Doing 80-100km/h is smooth highways is fine but whenever the road has small undulations, i loose confidence. If 5 adult members sit, then the car really struggles and 70km/h also feels unstable. Wagonr is a good car as i only have to visit the service centre for routine servicing. And mostly my runnings are solo and on the highway and the car does a great job.

Me and my whole family love our Wagon R. I have been to multiple road trips, I visit my hometown which is approx 800km from Hyderabad where I live once a year. Wagon R have never given us any trouble, the car is awesome for city traffic and performance on highways is also very good. The current car we have is my family's second Wagon R. First one my father bought, I learnt driving in that car and in 2021 I bought my Wagon R as my first car.

Absolutely no nonsense car. No fancy features. Simple spacious car for small family. Driver sitting position is best in this. It's a best city car. Service cost is also the lower side compared to other models.

I have a 2019 Maruti Suzuki ZXi top model, and I’m very happy with its performance. It has a 2000cc engine, and I never feel it is underpowered. The mileage is also good, around 20 km/l. Earlier, it used to give more than 20 km/l, but now it gives approximately 18 km/l

WagonR is a good car that is recommended to someone with a family. Its performance is quite good given its price point, although the USP of this car remains the extensive space it provides. Looks might not be quite appealing, but its versatility makes up for it.

WagonR is a versatile car choice for family-oriented people. Larger space makes it up for family get arounds. But it also packs a punch, making it a good overall car for your daily needs. It also provide a decent mileage, and comes with decent amount of features for a reasonable price.

The WagonR is undeniably a value-packed choice in its category. It impresses with its commendable ground clearance and fuel efficiency, much like the Maruti Ignis. However, it does have some room for improvement when it comes to pickup and shock absorbers. The power delivery and rear seat legroom may not be class-leading, but its compact design and user-friendly nature make it a standout option for navigating city streets with ease.
