Volkswagen Virtus to me, it represents the perfect blend of European driving dynamics, contemporary design, and class-leading safety. The 1.5 TSI in particular delivers refined performance and effortless highway cruising, while the spacious cabin and large boot make it practical for family use. Most importantly, its 5-star Global NCAP safety rating inspires real confidence when driving with loved ones. In a market shifting heavily to SUVs, the Virtus keeps the sedan spirit alive with a premium yet understated personality, which is why it stands out as my pick.

The 1.5 TSI engine with DSG gearbox gives it proper punch, and the way Virtus handles corners feels like you're driving a proper sports sedan rather than a family car. The stability at high speeds is confidence inspiring, and it strikes a great balance between performance and everyday usability. I also like that it looks sharp without being overdone - it's one of those cars that makes you smile every time you get behind the wheel.

I use the Virtus for city and occasional highway drives. It feels light and responsive, with solid mid-range torque. City mileage hovers around 10–12 kmpl and highway settles near 18 kmpl, depending on fuel quality. Interior feels ergonomic but plastics feel dated. Brake performance and safety features like six airbags and ESC offer confidence. A little noisy over uneven roads but enjoyable to drive.

Feels like a proper driver’s car. Superb engine, good mileage, and solid build. The DSG is quick but can be jerky at low speeds. Looks classy, especially in GT trim. Very happy with the purchase.

My favorite car currently on sale in India is the Volkswagen Virtus. Here's why: 1) Premium Design & Build Quality The Virtus boasts a sleek, timeless design that turns heads wherever it goes. Its clean lines give it a mature, professional look that I absolutely love. Inside, the cabin feels premium and user-friendly, with a solid build quality that indicates durability. 2) Spacious & Comfortable This car doesn't just look good it's spacious and comfortable too. The cabin feels larger than most sedans in its segment, with plenty of room for rear passengers. The boot space is ideal for weekend trips, and overall, comfort is truly prioritized here. 3) Performance Powered by a 1.5L TSI turbocharged petrol engine, the Virtus delivers an exhilarating 150 PS of power. Its performance strikes the perfect balance between power and efficiency.

My current favourite car irrespective of price is VW Virtus. I like the quality of parts and exterior VW Group maintains in their cars their engineering is better than other brands I feel. This results in better ownership experience for long term. Also since their build quality and engineering is good, they have also been rated 5 star in terms of safety. Since Virtus is a gorgeous looking car I like the most from VW’s line up. VW cars has longer service intervals and also better warranty coverage especially for paints. This alone tells us how much confidence they have in their vehicles. They do charge a premium (also one of the reasons to not sell in great numbers in India) for the cars but also provide better ownership experience overall.

With its sleek design, well-crafted interior, and a range of modern tech features, it offers a well-rounded driving experience. The engine options provide a good balance of power and fuel efficiency, and the handling is nimble. Safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist add to its appeal. The Virtus is a comfortable and practical sedan that maintains Volkswagen's reputation for quality and design.

Volkswagen Virtus. simply the best car which is on sale in India currently. the way it looks, the way it feels. amazing! Virtus simply spoils the owner by setting the bar high, because the quality, feel and the engine it provides is unmatched in that segment. having a skoda rapid in our garage, and one volkswagen car at my grandparent's home, german cars have a sweet corner in my heart, so it is obvious to fall in love with virtus. the turbo 1.5 liter engine is enough to make you fly. along with the premium quality interior, the beautiful steering and killer looks. there is no comparison with other cars, not even skoda Slavia. whenever i see any Virtus on the road, i cannot unsee it. i have to take a while to stare at it. other than that, there is skoda rapid and Volkswagen passat, which are my most favorites, but sadly they are discontinued in India so i did not mention it. the 2.0 liter TDI along with 6-speed DSG gearbox, the passat 2009 was a beast. i can proudly say it was the car which i drove for the very first time in my life, an amazing machine! the features in 2009 it provided were enough to make anyone fascinate. the dual zone climate control, heated ven

VW Virtus feels solid on road due to its engine and car performace. Steering is sharp and stable even at high speed. Turbo gives quick pickup and the design turns heads. Cabin is roomy with a big boot. Ventilated seats and sunroof make long trips easy!!

The Virtus GT blends German engineering precision with sporty flair. Its 1.5L TSI engine delivers a punchy 150PS and 250Nm of torque, making it one of the most spirited sedans in its class (I know the new Verna is more powerful, but I like this the most.). The manual gearbox adds a tactile, connected feel —perfect for spirited driving. 5-Star Global NCAP safety rating and 179mm of ground clearance make it more appealing.

Volkswagen Virtus . Reasons why...Reliable manual gearbox over the DSG,German build quality assures good high-speed stability. High ground clearance eliminates the need to scrap the underbelly - Good cornering despite a raised ground clearance - The engine can give competition to top-end luxury cars - Despite having good handling, the ride quality is also good. Fantastic German car

VW Virtus - MT it is a pure delight to drive that car in highway and a beautiful designed one too. The engine is very responsive with 148bhp power and 250NM torque. I love to drive it on highways and expressways. The ground clearance of 180mm is best in the class which is a blessing in Gurgaon potholes. There is No compromise on safety as well. The fuel efficiency is very good in highways. Top variant is feature rich, Also, you can unlock hidden features of Virtus by software upgrades (although I will Not suggest it to anyone). However, there are some drawbacks of this car. One of the major one is high maintenance cost.

volkswagen virtus is one of my favorite car. This is one of the most fun to drive car you can own, it has solid build and has plenty of space for people. It has a powerful engine so we can easily do long rides even in the Hilly terrains, you will never feel the lack of power. It has a plenty of boot space so you can easily accomodate a lot of luggage. I have easily done 500-600 kms in a day and didnt felt much tired after the driving. It has a little bit of stiffer suspension that you can feel in bumpy roads but in highway it is very stable and provide you the confidence you require to continuously ride it at triple digit speed
