Skoda Slavia Facelift
The Skoda Slavia Facelift is expected to debut with refreshed styling, more features, and improved performance. With Skoda focusing on continuous improvements, the updated Slavia will likely look more modern through revised LED headlamps, a redesigned grille, and sportier alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin could get an upholstery change, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and advanced safety features.
Under the hood, the Skoda Slavia Facelift is expected to retain its turbo-petrol engines, possibly with minor tuning. The transmission options will stay the same. With its anticipated launch in late 2026 , the Slavia facelift will aim to strengthen Skoda’s position in the sedan market. While the Slavia will continue to have the Honda City as its biggest rival, the updates it will feature could help it take on its own sibling, the VW Virtus.
The Skoda Slavia Facelift price in India is expected to start at around ₹12 lakh and go up to ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant. With updated styling and enhanced features, the facelifted Slavia will offer a better value-for-money proposition. The expected price may vary depending on the trim level and optional features. The on-road price will depend on taxes, insurance, and registration charges. With improvements in styling, equipment, and performance, the Slavia will likely continue to be a force to reckon with in the mid-size sedan space.
The Skoda Slavia Facelift Specs are expected to remain largely similar to the current model but with minor refinements for better performance and fuel efficiency. What this means is that the sedan will continue with the 1.0L TSI turbo-petrol (115 PS, 178 Nm) and the 1.5L TSI turbo-petrol (150 PS, 250 Nm) engines. Even the manual and the automatic transmission options will stay the same.
However, Skoda might retune the engine mapping to enhance mileage. Inside, expect a refreshed infotainment system, new upholstery, and improved connected car features. The Slavia facelift will also come with six airbags, ESC, and a strong safety package.
The Skoda Slavia Facelift will compete with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Virtus. While the current version even rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, the latter is bound to get discontinued by the end of March 2025.
