Volkswagen Virtus is my favourite car in India. Reason for this is, my next upgrade is going to be a mid size sedan. These so called SUVs (Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Nexon, VW Taigun etc.) dont appeal to me as I am biased towards sedans. Among mid size sedans, I have driven Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia and VW Virtus. I found Virtus to be the best as it has sufficient power (1.5 L engine is my choice), lovely looks (I love the coupe-ish rear), enough ground clearance for our roads and driving dynamics. I have not given serious thought to any vehicle above this range, so can not choose from them to be favourite though I feel a strong pull towards BMW (3 series but its based on what enthusiasts are saying about it, nothing else. So, for now, among all the cars on sale in India, Volkswagen Virtus is my favourite.

Virtus has a sleek and modern design that catches the eye. Its LED headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels give it a premium look. Inside, the dual-tone cabin, leatherette seats, and ambient lighting create a comfortable and stylish environment. have been using the Virtus for over 6 months.. rides great, and highway performance is impressive. The suspension is stiff, but that helps in handling. Fuel economy is decent, and it feels like a solid German car. However, small squeaks from the A-pillar and average AC cooling could be improved.

The Virtus nails the sedan game with a smooth drive, classy interior, and enough room for the crew. Not flashy but has quiet confidence and that German precision you cant ignore.

I found Volkswagen Virtus to be total value for money. It's powerful engine and a good mileage were the reasons to buy this car.

Well currently it has to be the Volkswagen Virtus, especially in the 1.0 TSI guise. I spent about 2 years test driving, learning and checking team-bhp to understand the car, and finally after owning it, I am just obsessed with it's performance, handling and stability, and importantly, it's beauty. I understand there might be better cars but for me, personally, nothing comes close to a Virtus. It has it's shortcomings but I still truly adore this car and will continue to do so throughout my ownership journey with it.

Of all the cars that I believe Volkswagen Virtus is the best. No ownership biases here - grins. But seriously, after driving the Virtus - other cars don't even come close. The sheer confidence it gives on the highway, the control inside the city, and the ground clearance for a sedan....there can't be a better car. To top it off, let's face it - it's the best looking car in the segment.

As a family car, my Virtus balance strongly between comfort and utility. The rear seats are spacious, and the boot space is large enough for suitcases and even bulky grocery loads. Features like rear AC vents, ambient lighting, and soft upholstery make longer drives with kids more comfortable!! Good to go car

Two months I got this car. It is definitely a head turner, great design, great performance, sedan with 180 mm. DSG AT Gear box is a great deal. It is equipped with German technology that never goes out of technology and style.

If you own a Virtus or German cars then you are truly car enthusiasts. TBH, Virtus gives a true German car feel. The cabin feels plush, features are modern, and the build quality is outstanding. The turbo engine makes every drive exciting, and the stability at high speed is impressive

I currently own a Virtus. I love the dynamics of this car, the feedback while driving. Although suspension is a little stiff for my liking, the exhaust Note on flooring it, the acceleration, the looks are all to melt for.

The Performance is top-Notch, feels sturdy, overall a dream to drive. My family was actually planning to buy it as our second car after we bought the Amaze, however at that time ADAS features were being rolled out and the Virtus didn't have that. Now that it has ADAS, It seems like a much better option.

Volkswagen virtus is the best car indeed . It has everything from tech to comfort having features like ventilated seats and a sunroof makes it even better but the main reason for it being my favourite is because of its 1.5 tsi and the disgusting gearbox is the icing on the cake. With sedans dying in the Indian suv car scene it's the only real car left . It also has best safety indeed. Das auto..

Excellent car with variety of features. Maintenance cost is a bit high but still the car is worth buying which can be used as either commuter or a sports vehicle
- KKaviarasanon 3rd October 20234.5
Virtus is known for a puncy engine, safety & high end luxury car feel. This car is equivalent to luxury sedans in India.

VW cars have a smooth and comfortable ride quality. The suspension is well-tuned and the cars absorb bumps well. Handle very well. They are responsive and precise, and they corner well. Very fuel-efficient. Many VW models achieve over 30 mpg in combined city/highway driving

My priorities are Safety and that's where VW stands tall. Have always bought car which are high on strength. Feel like you have control on road when you drive VW. Great engine and great stability.

Best in comfort and performance. Little high in maintenance but full of top notch features and a good option for an upper middle class with specifications like no one else in this segment

VW Virtus GT Plus Sport 1.5L MT in a candy white shade fitted with Octavia vRS alloy wheels. I have been driving for a decade now. Most of this time I have spent driving hatchbacks and subcompact SUVs. Our family have never owned a sedan. So for me a sedan is an aspirational product. The classic 3 box design, low slung silhouette , flowing body lines, enough said!. Recently while finalising a car for my friend we took a turn to the VW showroom and took a test drive of the Virtus 1.5 MT. We both stared at it for a good half an hour before even taking it out on roads. It was the perfect car. The more I drove, the more I was falling for it. The 1.5 TSI was the star of the show; Incredibly refined and strong punchy performance. The gearbox was not as good as I would have hoped, but it was nothing to worry about. But I loved the way it looked, no bad angle on that car. I am sure if you ask this same question again in a few years of time, I would give you a different answer. But as of now, a VW Virtus
