In daily driving the Toyota Hilux feels tough and almost unbreakable. The chassis is strong, the engine has good torque and it just climbs over bad roads without thinking too much. The cabin is nicer than people expect, seats are wide and visibility is great. Yes, it is expensive and big to park but the reliability, road presence and pickup bed make it worth it for people who travel a lot or do heavy work.

My favourite car in India right now is the Toyota Hilux. Hilux is a tough and reliable pickup, great for both city and off-road driving. The cabin feels premium with lots of space and features. Ride quality is a bit bumpy when the bed is empty, but it handles rough roads very well. If you want a practical lifestyle truck with Toyota's trusted durability, Hilux won't disappoint.

On the 4x4 side of things, the Hilux feels fairly competent in the conditions we drove in. For most enthusiast adventure-seeking overland junkies, this is the perfect vehicle. You have the space in the flatbed to load up whatever you'd need on say a camping trip, the torque will get you over any obstacles and a great 4x4 setup thanks to its electronic traction control system that will take you to extraordinary places. The Hilux also has a rear diff lock but for most purposes, the ECT is all that you would need. You just have to be careful of its dimensions. The 260/65 R18 wheels and tyres fill in the wheel wells, but the standard tyres Toyota provides with the Hilux are Bridgestone Duelers HTs (Highway Terrain) which are great on the tarmac, and just about adequate off-road. For more serious off-road work you will need to change those to an all-terrain or mud and snow pattern

Toyota Hilux is my favorite as I love offroading and offroading means you ride not on roads but you make your own way and for that you need a machine that is build solid and is reliable at the same time and Hilux is a complete package for this.

The favourite so far would be Toyota Hilux, in a country as vast and geographically diverse as us, pickup trucks are far and few. People have started doing lot more with their vehicles than just using it as a mode of transport. The Hilux looks rugged, versatile, and has great horsepower and torque with a 4WD. Has the badge of hoNour for a reliable engine.

Hilux is best used car for the heavy work. It can go anywhere if the driver is too experienced. Using this from 2 years no issue with engine and maintainnce. a very productive Hilux for me

Only car fulfilling road adventure with its 4*4 capability and it's engine and gearbox is very refine. It is a car run on any condition in offloading track , mountains, in snow , in hilly areas. Its rear trolly is very helpful for camping. Must have this car if you love trekking or off-roading.

Of all the cars currently on sale in India, my favourite is the Toyota Hilux. It may not have the better handling or many car things but from my childhood itself I like utility vehicles the most. I love to drive tractors in my farm land. The Hilux may be utilitarian, but it’s well thought out and feels purpose-built. I also admire the fact that Toyota didn’t try to make the Hilux overly luxurious at the cost of its core identity. It respects its roots as a workhorse, yet offers enough modern features to be used as a practical lifestyle vehicle As person who likes to live ina village and doing farming what else I can prefer Hilux yes sure there is Isuzu but Toyota has it's own brand vale and it's a global legend. The cost of the vehicle is on higher little bit higher side but the resale vale of Toyota and it can be used as a lifetime vehicle.Its sheer go-anywhere capability combined with Toyota’s rock-solid reliability. Toyota Hillux, largely because of the structure of a car married with a truck, and for the multiple features it has, each of which is thoughtfully designed for a true offroading experience. Yet to drive it though
