Of all the cars currently available in India, my favorite is the Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus 1.5 TSI DSG as this is my first SUV. This is the one that I own and it's more like a part of my family. I think it finds a great balance between performance, safety, and driving enjoyment in a market that often focuses only on features. The 1.5 TSI engine with active cylinder deactivation combines power and efficiency well. The DSG gearbox provides smooth and quick shifts, making it a true drivers car. I really like how solid and confidence inspiring it feels at high speeds, which is something I appreciate as an automobile engineer. My mother who is a senior citizen has never complained of back pain on our drives from Bangalore to Cochin. Credit goes to the seat profile design too. While other cars in the segment may try to impress with their size or techNology, the Taigun wins me over with its German engineering, driving experience, and simple design. Its a car that doesnt just take you from point A to B; it helps you enjoy the journey. That, for me, makes it truly special.

The one I own is the Volkswagen Taigun 1.5 GT. It's a car that makes every drive special. The 1.5 TSI engine delivers an addictive mix of refinement and punch, while the DSG gearbox ensures seamless performance whether in traffic or on open highways. What really stands out is the way it feels on the road solid, composed, and confidence-inspiring at any speed. The steering has great feedback, the brakes are reassuring, and the suspension strikes just the right balance between sporty and comfortable. I also love its understated yet premium design and that trademark VW build quality you feel it the moment you shut the door. Sure, the DSG and limited service network need some care, but the sheer driving pleasure easily outweighs those concerns. It's a driver's car through and through one that reminds you why you love being behind the wheel.

The Volkswagen Taigun because it strikes an excellent balance between driving dynamics, build quality, practicality and everyday usability qualities that matter to a real-world owner. Firstly, the Taigun drives like a European hatchback-turned-SUV: the chassis is composed, steering is communicative, and the suspension is tuned to absorb bad Indian roads without feeling floaty on the highway. That combination gives confidence on twisty ghats as well as on long straight runs. Secondly, the powertrain (a turbocharged petrol) delivers strong mid-range performance and is easy to manage in traffic or when climbing steep inclines. The gearbox and throttle response are intuitive for both relaxed cruising and overtaking on two-lane roads. Thirdly, Volkswagen's focus on build quality and ergoNomics shows in everyday use the cabin feels solid, controls are well laid out, and NVH levels are mature for its class. Practical things like boot space, rear-seat comfort and storage make it a good long-distance companion for road trips and family use. Finally, compared with close rivals, the Taigun offers a more drive

From a family point of view, the Volkswagen Taigun feels practical and modern. The cabin quality is solid, seats are comfortable and the touchscreen works smoothly. The 1.0 and 1.5 engines both feel responsive, and highway stability gives confidence. Mileage stays decent if driven calmly, and the compact size makes parking easy even in crowded areas. For daily city use, it feels light and easy to handle.

Volkswagen Taigun, I have always been a great admirer of German engineering and specifically of VAG. What sets this car apart from others in the segment is the underlying MQB A0 IN platform and both 1.0 and 1.5 TSI engine options. Though the car looks smaller in size as compared to the competitors but according to me this gives VW Taigun an edge for having great stability and less body roll. It also delivers great performance when required which makes it both practical and an enthusiasts car. It lacks features as that of other cars like the 360-degree camera, ADAS, panoramic sunroof etc. but I don't see some of these features to be practical on Indian roads. So in a nutshell the car offers safety, reliability, performance, practicality and fun to drive experience. Although no car is a perfect car but VW Taigun fits in best while selecting a compact SUV in the market.

Volkswagen Taigun is best kNown for its stellar 5-star Global NCAP safety rating and rugged, high-quality build that imparts a robust feel of durability coupled with safety while driving on Indian roads. The cabin of the car boasts superior craftsmanship with a well-thought-out neatly designed comfortable interior coupled with useful features such as ventilated seats and wireless smartphone connectivity. Most of all, its superior quality coupled with its safety, comfort, as well as genuinely enjoyable driving sensations make the Taigun an extremely tempting proposition across everyday Indian usage.

The Volkswagen Tiguan, it's a complete package that blends performance, practicality, and refinement in a way few others manage. Ideal for Indian roads, the 2.0 TSI engine and DSG gearbox provide a smooth and exciting ride. The standard Volkswagen solidity that inspires long-term confidence is evident in its build quality, fit, and finish. Additionally, the Tiguan R's subtle elegance, pure engineering, and driving pleasure are admirable.

Taigun.. I like volkswagen as it offers good performance while driving. The turbo-petrol engine gives excellent pickup and makes city or highway driving enjoyable. The interior quality is premium, and it gives a European car feel. If you love driving, this is one of the best choices in the mid-size SUV segment

currently, it has to be the vw taigun gt, my maternal uncle owns it and when i drove it, it was easily one of the best cars i have driven out of the mere 5-6 cars (city, brezza, baleno, celerio, creta), i personally find the designing so pleasing for some reason because it reminds me of the polo which was one of my favorite cars growing up, like there's something about their cars that they hold up even when they are very similar to what they were 10 years ago, you can see that hold up to their roots, about the driving dynamics it felt so fun the car felt so responsive, on highways it picks up the pace so beautifully when i am taking a turn i feel so confident. thank you so much

Sometimes you sit in a car and it just feels sorted. That is Taigun. The 1.5 engine pulls strong, the cabin feels classy. Only issue, rear seat space is Not very wide for three adults but overall it’s a superb city and highway mix.

The Volkswagen Taigun feels sturdy and sure-footed 12–14 kmpl. Solid steering, nice infotainment and decent boot. Rear seat could be roomier for three adults. Drives confidently on highways and city alike.

Its a good buy. Great build quality, engine and drive experience. Feels premium. However bit pricy, doesn’t offer cruise control and panaromic sunroof at this price range in the same segment.

It has excellent drive experience and stability. Good car for a small family. The backseat can not accommodate more than 2 people comfortably, which might be a challenge. The mileage is decent, Company can work on improving it. It can better look on adding some features as compared to other car options available in the market. Its best for someone who can overlook some cosmetic features and gives more preference to engine and drive experience.
