Sometimes you sit in a car and it just feels sorted. That is Taigun. The 1.5 engine pulls strong, the cabin feels classy. Only issue, rear seat space is Not very wide for three adults but overall it’s a superb city and highway mix.

VW Taigun 1.5 GT Plus for its engaging driving dynamics, solid European build and 5star GNCAP safety rating. However the CKD units sold here do suffer from some long-term reliability concerns, the touch based AC controls and the absence of features such as a 360degree camera which makes its ₹22–23 lakh price tag harder to justify in my view. The Tiguan RLine is aNother strong offering, but the intrusive ADAS tuning and certain mechanical revisions by the VW Group raise questions about long-term dependability. I also appreciate the Honda Elevate for what it offers at its price point, though omissions like a factory-fitted TPMS, 360degree camera and its small 40litre fuel tank limit its appeal for me.

The Taigun is a good car if you are looking for a compact SUV. It looks good, has decent equipment, a fantastic engine + gearbox pairings, and that German toughness everyone talks about. I see nothing wrong in the Taigun, really. Sure, it is not as spacious as a Hyundai Alcazar, but as a normal-sized family SUV, the VW fits the bill very well

This is one of the most engaging to drive options in its segment. The 1.0 L TSI is surprisingly peppy, with 115PS and 178Nm.Its a perfect city companion and the turbo lag is well managed, the smooth 6-speed Manual makes it highly usable and truly a drivers compact SUVW

Overall performance of the car is awesome. In city if there is too much traffic then it gives around 9-10 kmpl. Mini Audi for its price range and engine

The best car I've ever had. Had Polo TSI engine which was also a beast. Now taigun gives similar vibes of its counterpart! The best in class comfort with ease of drive!

I have not driven all the Indian cars in total, but I drove SUVs of volkswagen, Honda, maruti suzuki, hyundai and Kia. According to me, VW Taigun is the most fun to drive car if you are a driving enthusiast. That too, the manual one be it 1.0 or 1.5 , its ultra responsive light steering makes the drive a cakewalk. Rest all cars i feel are better driven as automatics. Just a personal opinion.

Taigun. I'm very new to cars but test drove this and absolutely loved it. And it felt so sturdy. More sturdy than any car I've ever sat on. And I value passive safety a lot as well.

The Volkswagen I used was small but planted around 15–16 kmpl. Steering is precise, music is fine. Backseat is cramped for long rides. Feels sporty and city-friendly, always a grin on short drives.

That would easily be VW Taigun. I've many reasons to love this car the first being it's brand, which stands for quality built, safe and reliable cars albeit a bit expensive to own and maintain for the middle-class. Taigun because I love the mean look of the front profile and the stylish back profile with infinity tail lamp and all. I can keep saying more reasons but I'm stopping for the brevity of it.
