My current favourite is the Mahindra XEV 9e. It represents a bold shift by an Indian manufacturer into the premium EV space, with substance, not just style. What impresses me most is the 800V electrical architecture, which is rare even globally, enabling ultra-fast charging and better thermal efficiency. The BYD-sourced LFP battery, the thoughtful ADAS suite, and the triple-screen cockpit show Mahindra’s commitment to blending global tech with Indian driving needs. But it’s not just about specs. The XEV 9e shows that Indian automakers can lead innovation while preserving practicality, like usable range, high ground clearance, and real-world comfort. As someone who values engineering, user experience, and sustainability, this car reflects where the Indian market should be headed. I’m also booked for one, so I have more than just admiration; I have skin in the game.

The Mahindra XEV 9e, for me its Not just a car, but a symbol of how far Mahindra has developed as a company. It makes me proud to see an Indian brand building world class EV thats capable of competing even with Tesla! The overall looks, interior, battery options, features, safety all under 30L are extremely VFM. Thats the reason I bought this car even when I didnt have the need to buy one! Its been 2 months since I got this home and I've already driven ~2000 kms, the drives have been absolutely pheNomenal. Even my family members feel this is a great car. I'm thinking of selling my Creta because its been sitting idle from the past one month!

XEV 9E is the favorite car of mine - Stability - Even at speeds of 100 above the car holds on its own - Comfort - I just drove 3K kms and i never even once felt the triedness - Space - The space in frunk and dicky is humongous and makes it easy to carry luggage without second thought - Third screen - WHile on trip my daughter never got bored due to third screen. This is a boon when you have kids accompanying you on long trips - Wide door - The doors open absolutely 90 degree which is a big help especially for elders and kids - Ground Clearance - The Ground clearance is absolutely helpful on road like Kalyan, Thane, Bhiwandi where the road conditions are pathetic - Rear seat space - My Parents travelled with me from bangalore and both of them enjoyed the drive thoroughly. The space was enough and made sure they could move their legs.

As everyone opting for EV Vehicle, The Mahindra XEV 9e is my favorite car in India right now because it combines great performance, advanced technology, and a futuristic design. It runs on a powerful battery, which offers impressive range and quick charging, making it practical for long trips. As one of the initial drawback of EV vehicle was its inability to go for longer drives. The sleek coupe-style design as I saw in the pictures, high-tech interior, and smooth driving experience make it stand out. With features like ADAS for safety, a triple-display setup, and spacious storage, it’s both stylish and functional. Mahindra has done a great job in creating a modern, efficient, and exciting EV, making the XEV 9e a strong contender in India’s electric car market.

At present, my favorite car is the Mahindra Xev -9E. It feels like a premium luxury car which is packed with numerous features, seems value for money, is good for the environment, design is futuristic. Also, the fact that it is designed, manufactured and sold by and Indian company rivaling products by various Top international brands makes it my hot favorite. It has a feature for each and every member of my family, can easily accommodate my entire family and we can confidently plan long road trips in it. It has awakened a newfound love of planning and going on road trips, not for the destination, but for the journey in this fabulous car.

I recently bought XEV 9E and naturally feel this is the best car on sale in term of value for money and packing all the awesome features in 1 car. I am strongly suggesting everyone in my circle anyone who has a parking spot and largely drives within city should go electric.

Recently purchased this car. Me and mine friends loves to drive the XEV 9E as much as possible and it turned out to be the best car in this segment. Proper value for money, great car, subtle interior. Your experience in this car would be great because of its comfort so you can purchase this car without thinking so much

Took the test drive of new electric car Mahindra XEV 9E in Surat and drive experience was awesome. Had seen the passion and effort put by Mahindra in developing this vehicle. Overall it has come-up as a good package with good looks, amazing powertrain, list of features and good range. I am still concered about the niigles being reported and Mahindra service. I feel this is the best value proposition you can get below 30 lakhs in India right now

I have been driving 9E since last couple of months, and i feel great about the driving experience, balance of power with the ease of driving it. XEV9E is actually a car which is of global standard in terms of experience. Its rare for a car worth 30L+ to grab this much attention in India considering the price sensitiveness here. Legroom in the back, the feature loaded front (which can be overwhelming at times) and especially the boot shape, its probably the only coupe by an Indian car company which i have liked so far.

Mahindra XEV 9e looks modern and fresh for an Indian EV, Not like a tiny hatch with just a battery thrown in. The cabin feels premium with plenty of screen space and tech, and the ride quality is smooth for everyday use. If Mahindra gets the real-world range right, it will work nicely for both city and quick weekend drives.

Powerful, looks awesome polarizing for sure, looks huge and a head turner, electric! and that is XEV 9E CAR. It looks awesome with peak safety. Rnage is too good which gives awesome performance under reasonable price. It's feature is just above any other luxury car under this price range.

The Mahindra XEV 9e is my pick. It's more than just another electric SUV; it's a statement of intent from an Indian brand. The superior IN-GLO born-electric platform is a clean-sheet design that allows a proper EV packaging. The coupe-SUV body style is a bold move, giving it a road presence that's both aggressive and futuristic. Beyond the looks, the tech-forward interior and promise of a truly segment above luxury experience shows that they're not just playing catch-upthey're actively shaping the future of mobility in India. For a car geek, this signals Mahindra's commitment to pushing their boundaries.

Mahindra XEV 9E -good design, good value for money. Good features. Tech driven. One pedal drive and adas work excellently, great music experience during long drives.

My favourite would be XEV 9e. I really enjoyed driving it. One factor could be that I haven't driven a car as powerful as 9e, the instant torque and the acceleration it provides were mind numbing for me. Cabin has fresh interiors and is a delight to sit into. I found Noise cancellation to be excellent. It looks best and imposing from the front angle although I am not a fan of its side profile, it definitely looks stretched and the big piano black cladding doesn't help either. All the gizmos adds to the experience too.

The XEV 9E honestly feels. Unreal? To me. That an Indian brand can make such a beauty, load it with such features. I can't explain in words how flabbergasted I am with this EV lineup of Mahindra. Makes me feel proud to be an EV owner of an Indian brand.

Oh, this one keeps changing, probably once every 3 - 6 months. As of now, it's XEV 9e - Be it design, performance, and the plushness of the cabin, I feel it's almost got everything right. I did feel it's overpriced by about 2 lakhs and with the pricing of Harrier EV that thought is now validated. Also hoping for the service and backend support to become better.

Unlike many new EVs, the Mahindra XEV 9e looks smart and the ride feels smooth. Cabin space is good, but charging network in some cities still feels limited.
- HHansikaon 27th October 20255.0
The best looking car, some might say it is not good but I think it sexy and the performance is also great. Definately worth it
- AEAuto Enthusiaston 1st December 20254.0
XEV 9e actually feels like Mahindra is getting very serious about EVs Now. The design looks modern, Not boxy or boring, and the inside will have big screens, connected tech, all that fancy stuff people want today.
