Mahindra XUV700 is my favorite—for its engineering depth, driving dynamics, and the vision it represents for Indian automotive excellence. From a driving perspective, I truly appreciate the highway cruising ability, powerful and refined 2.2L mHawk diesel, and the confident performance of the Aisin-sourced automatic transmission. Whether it’s overtaking with ease or maintaining triple-digit speeds effortlessly, the XUV700 delivers a planted and premium ride— comparable to sedans, yet with the space and practicality of an SUV. As someone working in embedded automotive systems, I have a deep appreciation for the technology it brings—ADAS Level 2, connected features, and drive modes. What stands out most is how well ADAS is calibrated for Indian road conditions. Lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning feel purposeful, not intrusive— something that’s rare in this segment. I also admire Mr. Velusamy’s vision of creating an “affordable BMW” for Indian consumers. The XUV700 lives up to that promise by offering a premium driving experience, mature dynamics, and a

My favorite car currently on sale in India is the Mahindra XUV700 especially the AX7 Diesel Automatic variant with AWD. Here's why: 1. Balanced Performance & Comfort: The XUV700 strikes a fine balance between performance, practicality, and comfort. The 2.2L mHawk diesel engine is incredibly refined and torquey, making it a joy on highways and surprisingly responsive in city traffic despite its size. 2. Feature-Rich, Yet Purposeful: It's loaded with segment-leading features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, 360 camera, and a clean dual-screen cockpit. These aren't gimmicks they're genuinely useful, especially for long highway drives. 3. Ride Quality & Handling: The ride is well-tuned for Indian roads. It absorbs potholes without being floaty and stays composed at triple-digit speeds. The AWD variant offers a confident feel on bad roads, ghat sections, or monsoon terrains perfect for a touring family. 4. Of all the cars currently on sale in India, my unequivocal favorite is the Mahindra XUV700. As a proud owner, my appreciation for this vehicle has only deepened with every kilometre driven. My choice is based on three key aspects. First, the powertrain and performance. The mStallion turbo-petrol engine that powers my XUV700 is a marvel of engineering, offering a blend of exhilarating performance and remarkable refinement that is rare in this segment. The power is delivered effortlessly, making it a joy for both spirited highway drives and navigating city traffic. For a travel enthusiast like myself, its capabilities as a long-distance tourer are exceptional. Second is the forward-thinking techNology and safety package. The integration of the dual 10.25-inch screens (AdreNoX) is brilliantly executed, creating a cabin that feels modern and user-friendly. More importantly, the inclusion of a comprehensive ADAS suite is a game-changer for safety on Indian roads. It demonstrates Mahindra's commitment to Not just performance, but also the well-being of its occupants. Finally, the XUV700 represents an unbeatable value proposition. It offers the design, space, features, and performance

Currently, my favorite Indian car is the Mahindra XUV700, particularly the AX7 automatic diesel variant with advanced ADAS features. My reasons are rooted in both personal experience and the vehicle's balanced offering of power, comfort, and safety. Coming from an older compact sedan, the XUV700's superior ride quality, intelligent driver assist systems, and spacious seven-seater layout have transformed my driving and family travel experience. It perfectly matches my lifestyle needs while delivering strong performance and excellent highway capability. The thoughtful engineering and tech-packed cabin make it a standout in its segment and a favorite among Indian SUVs.

I always had been a big fan of Mahindra XUV500 since the time it was launched. I was a college student then and looking at it I realised it was a car which I would like to own some day. Credit goes to its bold styling and macho haunches. Later when XUV700 was launched, I could see the same DNA in it. The same intimidating body language which emanates an understated elegance at the same time. The tall boy stance, the class leading power figures and optional All Wheel Drive. It was a driver's car in every sense. The 2 litre petrol catapulted the car like a ballistic projectile. Not only it's acceleration but it's refinement was worth praising. What personally appealed the most to me were it's interiors. The dual screen setup, the welcome seat functions, ventilated seats and Driver Assist functions were certainly class leading. Practicality has always been a strong suit of Mahindra. The XUV700 was No exception. A decent ground clearance and a huge boot space with the third row down highly elevated it's already wide spectrum of usage scenario. Owning a Mahindra comes with its fairshare of advantages which includes it's extensive network of service stations. The cost of service an

It really draws me to the XUV700 is how Mahindra has managed to offer a well-rounded package that feels genuinely premium, without losing its rugged, SUV DNA. The design is bold and modern, with a strong road presence that turns heads, yet it doesn't feel overdone or flashy. Performance-wise, both the petrol and diesel engine options are extremely capable, but I personally appreciate the diesel engine with manual gearbox. it offers excellent drivability, torque, and refinement, making it a great all-rounder for both city traffic and long highway trips. The suspension is well-tuned too and it handles rough roads confidently without compromising on comfort. I also love the twin screen layout, ADAS, 360-degree camera, and the Sony sound system features that you usually expect in far more expensive vehicles.
