My Dzire Story – “Sundari” We own a 2010 Swift Dzire VXI (BS4, Silky Silver) the only Dzire generation with a length above 4 meters, making it feel like a proper sedan. It was powered by Suzuki’s first K12 engine, and till today, its RAWNESS and tall gearing remain unmatched. In 2nd gear, it touches 95 km/h, yet the high-speed stability and cornering balance are superb. its not a turbocharged funk car but never lets down ITS ELEGANT for me My dad bought this car when I was in 2nd class, and now, as a 4th-year B.Tech student, I can proudly say I’ve grown up with it. I’ve driven it for the last 30–40k km, especially between Gurgaon and Delhi, and it still feels as fresh and elegant as day one. At 1,10,000 km, the engine is so smooth that sitting inside, you can barely tell whether it’s on or off. The Dzire is a true all-rounder: smooth when driven slow, confidence-inspiring when pushed fast. Very Big boot, timeless instrument cluster, and elegant JAPANESE design ! Despite completing 15 years, we’ve decided to keep it, thanks to the new rule, because i really get emotional by even the thought of this car leaving us always kept us all safe and mechanically also its all sorted . Once I get placed, I dream of giving it mods like spoiler, 16-inch wheels, maybe more. I call her “Sundari”, because as Karan Aujla said: “Ni tenu dekh k jee lagda, dekh deeva jagda… Tu Moraa’n kolo sikhdi toraa’n.” My Sundari has listened to it all, the throttle has felt it all so she isn’t just a car for me, she’s family. ❤️
I have learned driving on Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire. I feel this a very robust car that is good on milleage, helps with ample space, easier maintenance and availability of spare parts. I have driven it across landscapes and beleive this is the best pocket friendly starter car out there.
But since I own Suzuki Dzire, I would advocate for that. Simply because I feel in this budget, no other "Sedan" can come close to what Dzire gives...great mileage, great resale value, easy maintanence and affordability of parts are the resons why I think Dzire is highly underrated.
I prefer Dzire ZXi AT. First and the foremost its 5 star NCAP rating which makes it a safe car. Of course the reliable Maruti name is a big pull. I have driven the older version and the engine performance, NVH and handling left me impressed. I would have gone for it had it not been the poor sales experience at the showroom. The new launch is visually striking and the Z-Series 1.2 L with 5 speed AT am sure packs a punch. In Bhopal's bumper to bumper traffic it sure soothes nerves
Maruti Suzuki Swift Dizire is so wonderful car
The Dzire 2024 is praised for its smooth ride, good mileage, and well-insulated cabin, making it suitable for family use. However, some users find it lacks power and excitement, describing it as a more conservative choice for driving enthusiasts. While it performs well for everyday needs, it may not satisfy those seeking a spirited driving experience.
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 facelift impresses with its bold design, advanced technology, and robust performance. It features a refined interior, a powerful engine, and top-notch safety ratings, making it a compelling choice in the compact sedan market.
