My favorite car currently on sale in India is the Tata Safari (2023 Facelift). Here's why: Design & Presence: The Safari's bold, modern design with its signature humanity line grille, LED lighting, and imposing stance gives it a premium road presence. Comfort & Space: The 3-row seating is practical for families, and the cabin offers exceptional comfort with features like ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and premium materials. Performance: The 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine delivers strong performance (168 BHP, 350 Nm) while retaining Tata's signature refinement. The 6-speed automatic transmission is smooth and well-tuned. Safety: Tata's commitment to safety is evident with a 5-star Global NCAP rating, multiple airbags, ESP, and robust build quality. Value: It offers a compelling package compared to rivals like the Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700, balancing luxury, capability, and affordability. The Safari represents a perfect blend of heritage (reviving a legendary nameplate) and modern innovation, making it my top choice in India's SUV segment.

I love Safari beacuse it stands out for me and it blends practicality, presence, and purpose - all in one package, and that too from an Indian brand. First, the sheer road presence of the Safari is unmatched in its segment. It looks mature and commanding without being flashy. The updated design language, especially with the new grille and connected tail lamps, gives it a premium yet rugged appeal. But looks aren’t everything - and that’s where the driving experience comes in. The 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine is torquey and refined, and mated to the 6-speed automatic (sourced from Hyundai), it delivers both performance and comfort for long-distance touring. As someone who enjoys highway drives and family road trips, this combination of power and space is ideal. The interior, especially post-facelift, has seen a massive upgrade - the 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital cluster, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and premium upholstery make it feel like a proper luxury SUV at a reasonable price point. And now, with improved ADAS features, it’s c

The commanding driving position, spacious interiors, and robust build quality make it ideal for Indian families and long-distance travel. Moreover, Tata's focus on safety with high Global NCAP ratings adds to its appeal. I admire how the Safari balances modern features with rugged capability, making it a car that is equally suited for highways, city use, and off-road trips. For me, it captures the essence of Indian motoring better than most.

My favourite Indian car is the Tata Safari. I admire it for multiple reasons. First, it represents the rebirth of an iconic Indian SUV nameplate in a modern avatar. Tata Motors has done an excellent job in blending rugged presence with contemporary features and premium interiors. The ride quality is superb, especially on Indian roads, and the 6/7-seater layout is practical for family use. Additionally, I appreciate Tata’s commitment to safety – the build quality is solid, and their emphasis on crash safety (especially with the GNCAP ratings of their lineup) sets a great example for the Indian automotive industry. Supporting a homegrown manufacturer that is stepping up its game in design, performance, and safety also feels good. If I had to choose one Indian car that balances emotion, practicality, and value, it would be the Tata Safari.

Tata Safari represents how far Indian manufacturers have come in terms of design, engineering, and safety. The Safari blends strong road presence with a comfortable, spacious cabin and robust build quality. I particularly appreciate Tata's commitment to improving safety standards, offering multiple airbags and solid crash ratings across their range. Beyond nostalgia, the modern Safari shows that Indian automakers can now compete with global brands on technology, refinement, and style, while still maintaining value for money. It's a true symbol of Indian automotive progress.

Always been a fan of the Safari. I remember seeing the old TCIC version as a kid and just being blown away by how big and tough it looked. It wasnt the fastest or most refined, but it had presence, proper SUV vibes when most others looked like hatchbacks on stilts. The Safari Storme took it further, and even though it didnt get all the praise it deserved, I still think it had something special. Now with the new Safari, its more polished, modern, and definitely easier to live with. Sure, its Not body-on-frame anymore, but Tata has done a good job retaining that Safari feel while making it family-friendly. Ive driven the new one a few times and honestly, it still gives me that old-school satisfaction of sitting high up and cruising comfortably. Theres just something about the Safari that connects, its emotional, Not just a car. Its always been my top pick among Indian cars, hands down.

Tata Safari is my favourite. Be it the catchy design, the engine power, the torque, the road presence, the features, the safety rating, huge tires, everything is awesome. Yeah, maybe there are more powerful and torquey cars around, but this one has other amazing features in combination, which fits in my future upgrade budget. The car not only has an urban feel but also takes the off-roads conveniently. All in all, it is a perfect match for aspiration.

Safari represents the evolution of Indian automotive engineering combining rugged DNA with modern features, safety, and comfort. I admire its commanding road presence, spacious cabin, and reliable diesel engine that performs well both on highways and hilly terrains. The Safari also reflects how Tata Motors has prioritized build quality and safety, aligning with global standards. Personally, it appeals to me because I enjoy long drives and road trips, and the Safari feels like a trustworthy companion for both city commutes and adventure travel.

Tata Safari Facelift Dark Automatic, before buying this Masterpiece by Tata Motors I had done a hell lot of research as well as test drove almost all cars similar to it. Why Tata Safari? 1. Heritage and Identity The Safari name has been an icon in India since its launch in 1998. It was one of the first true-blue SUVs that gave Indian buyers a sense of pride and adventure. The new Safari continues that legacy but in a modern, refined form. It feels like a car that carries India's identity — bold, robust, and ready for both city life and highway journeys. 2. Design and Presence The current Safari is built on Tata's OmegaArc platform (derived from Land Rover's D8 architecture). This gives it a very solid stance. On the road, it looks commanding with its high bonnet line, broad grill, and clean design language. Many cars in India look good, but the Safari has a unique "big car" feel that you can't igNore. 3. Comfort and Space Inside, the Safari offers one of the most comfortable cabins in its class. The captain seats in the 6-seater version are excellent, making it feel almost like a lounge on wheels. It balances practicality with premium touches like soft-touch materials, a large paNoramic sunroof, and a decent infotainment setup.4. Performance and Safety.

I admire how Tata Motors has revived a legendary nameplate and built a modern, capable SUV that feels truly built for Indian conditions. The combination of a robust build quality, a powerful and refined diesel engine, a comfortable and spacious cabin, and its commanding driving position makes it a compelling package. It stands out for offering a genuine SUV experience without the premium foreign brand price tag.

What makes it stand out for me is the balance between design, safety, and real-world usability. The build quality, the 5-star Global NCAP rating, and the stability at highway speeds give you confidence that few cars in this segment offer. The ride comfort, commanding seating position, and Harman audio setup make long drives genuinely relaxing.
