My favourite has to be the Tata Safari Dicor 4x4, specifically the 2008 model I owned until 2022. I had admired this vehicle for years, it was a passion rooted deep in my childhood. The rugged looks, robust build, and simple yet effective engineering gave it a unique character that many modern SUV's seem to lack. When I bought it in 2013, I was drawn to how it combined off-road capability with comfort, making it equally at home on rough trails or city roads. Even after selling it in 2022, I still miss that vehicle and often wish Tata had continued supporting it with spares and updates. To me, DICOR is more than just a car — it is a symbol of adventure, reliability, and an era of Indian automotive history that I deeply respect.

My personal favourite car in sale in India today is Tata Safari. It is my favourite because of its true suv looks, the blend lineage of Tata and JLR, superior safety, absolute comfort and a proper 7 seater car. Though I’m in the market for a 7 seater I’m not able to choose this for a couple of reasons. Though it’s a proper 7 seater it doesn’t fit for carrying a minimal luggage while it is fully packed with 7 and the lack of AWD. So I’m thinking of buying a C5 ( compromised to 5 seater because if not safari no other 7 seater and regret later) in used market. Not going for Harrier although it is sharing the platform with safari because I love safari and no other cars in the same platform.

Tata Safari is my favourite. It blends modern design with nostalgic presence and now offers legitimate long-distance touring capability. It’s the kind of vehicle that commands respect without needing to shout — something I wish more dealerships would mirror in their service philosophy.

Tata Safari has been a dream car for me since my childhood.. now I own one..its been a long journey from working on the production line of Indica to being in a professional position today to own a Safari 2.0. its a dream come true for me and thats a huge reason for being my favourite. The new Safari looks bold and stylish. It gets attention on the road, and I really like the front grille and LED DRLs. The interiors feel premium, and the captain seats in the 6-seater version are very comfortable. The panoramic sunroof adds a nice luxury touch!!!

Perfect blend of road presence, comfort, and modern tech while still carrying the legacy of a true Indian SUV is TATA SAFARI. It feels built for our roads and represents how far Indian automotive design has evolved.

Tata safari is my favourite car and my childhood dream to own it one day. Tall body, strong road presence and its power makes it my favorite choice. Also it is a proper seven seater comfortable for the family including elderly people. Only down side is limited boot space when all seats are up.

I love Tata Safari because of the following reasons. 1. One of the best car with good third row space 2. One of the wide cars available on market 3. Near to experience of riding a Range Rover 4. Comfortable seating

I found this car to be nice and a bit expensive as the maintenance charges are high for maintaining this car. Decent mileage and great power

Big seats, tall driving view, and that 4x4 confidence made the Dicor feel rugged. But Yes, the engine Noise was a bit loud.

I am fan of Tata safari.. I love performance cars especially diesel engines for their torque. As petrol engines of same capacity can't give enough torque.. I am not talking about moster machines with turbo or EV.. just a suv for middle class.

I really do appreciate Tata Safari for its elegant looks since it has its own Indian engine rather than an imported one.
