Founded in 2017 under Vietnam's Vingroup, VinFast is one of the youngest global carmakers to attempt a full electric-only strategy at scale. What makes the brand unique is speed. It is suitable for long-distance users and families who require a larger boot and wider rear seat at a higher price point, of course.
VinFast cars in India deliver good value on paper. Safety ratings, long range, competitive pricing and extended warranties make the proposition attractive, particularly for buyers who are more interested in owning an EV than in owning a car with a brand legacy. The VF 6 and VF 7 offer more features for the rupee than many established rivals.
