MG Hector price hiked in July 2025 — Biggest yet?

The MG Hector is available in five trims—Style, Shine Pro, Select Pro, Smart Pro, and Savvy Pro. With the exception of the entry-level Style variant, MG Motor India has quietly nudged up prices across the range, with hikes going up to Rs 29,600. Meanwhile, even the Blackstorm and Snowstorm editions haven’t escaped the wave, seeing a bump of up to Rs 29,000.

While the carmaker has spared the MG Hector Style variant from a fresh price hike this time—keeping it steady at Rs 14.25 lakh—it’s not exactly untouched. Back in May 2025, the base Style trim, along with other petrol variants, received a uniform hike of Rs 25,000
The other petrol MT trims haven’t been as lucky. Prices for the Hector Shine Pro MT, Select Pro MT, and Smart Pro MT have gone up by Rs 23,400, Rs 24,200, and Rs 25,700, respectively—rising gradually as you climb the feature ladder. Sitting at the top, the Hector Sharp Pro MT takes the biggest hit, with a hike of Rs 27,300, making it the priciest jump among the manual petrol variants.
When it comes to the MG Hector Petrol CVT trims, the upward drift continues. The Shine Pro CVT now costs Rs 24,400 more, while the Select Pro CVT gets dearer by Rs 26,000. The Sharp Pro CVT steps up with a steeper hike of Rs 28,500. But it’s the Savvy Pro CVT that bears the steepest climb—now pricier by Rs 29,600. A classic case of the more you climb, the harder the pull on your wallet.
