Driving Test Procedure in Gurgaon

Just like everywhere else, in Gurgaon, the DL test is programmed as per the Motor Vehicle Act 1988. It is invigilated by a Motor Vehicle Inspector, while the applicant must use his own vehicle for the test. This vehicle should be of the same category for which he needs a DL. In case he doesn’t have the required vehicle, he can use the vehicle of the motor driving school.

Test for Two-Wheeler & Three-Wheeler

In case of the driving licence test of a 2 or a 3-wheeler, the candidate must ride the vehicle within a boundary and make imaginary patterns of 8 while making sure the vehicle doesn’t stall. Once satisfied with the performance, the invigilator asks the applicant to ride on a public road.

Test for Four Wheeler

For the driving licence test of a four-wheeler, the applicant must ride on a test track without coming in contact with the columns placed on the boundary even once. Next, the applicant needs to drive on a public road and he or she is judged per the performance in real-world conditions. In case an applicant fails for the test of any category of vehicles, he or she should give a re-test after 7 days and pay a nominal fee.
