Key highlights of Second Hand Honda City
The Honda City has been a leader in the midsize sedan segment since its first launch back in 1998, evolving through multiple generations with style, comfort, and reliability at its core.
A used Honda City in blends premium sedan appeal with Honda’s proven engineering, making it a sought-after choice for both daily commuters and family buyers.
Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX mounts, while higher trims bring advanced tech like Honda Sensing ADAS, LaneWatch camera, 6 airbags, and full-LED headlamps. Inside the Honda City, you will find a roomy cabin with plush seating, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a semi-digital driver’s display.
Its refined 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine offers smooth performance with fuel efficiency of up to 18.4 km/l (CVT) and 17.8 km/l (manual). A generous 506-litre boot and comfortable suspension setup make it equally capable for city drives and long journeys.
Entry-level SV or V trims for a second hand Honda City in start at around ₹0.92 lakh, while top-end VX or ZX trims with premium features can go up to ₹15.00 lakh, depending on year, mileage, and condition.
How can I check the condition of a used Honda City before purchasing?
Cars24-listed cars undergo a comprehensive 300+ point inspection, covering the engine, brakes, suspension, transmission, and more, ensuring the used car is mechanically sound and safe to drive. Verified dealer listings typically provide detailed specifications and high-resolution images. While they may not include a standardised inspection report, you can request additional information or arrange for an independent inspection. Individual seller listings come pre-inspected with the option to purchase a 300+ point inspection report for ₹382 + GST. This report offers insights into key components like engine performance, tyre health, and transmission condition, helping you make an informed decision.

Why the Honda City stands out among other midsize sedans
The Honda City is more than just a premium sedan; it’s a blend of sophisticated design, spacious comfort, and driving refinement. While many sedans in its price range focus on either features or performance, the pre owned Honda City in delivers both in a balanced package.
Unlike most rivals, the second hand Honda City in offers impressive rear-seat legroom, a premium cabin finish, and segment-first Honda Sensing ADAS in newer models. Features like full-LED projector headlamps, an 8-inch infotainment system, Arkamys-tuned audio, and LaneWatch also enhance daily driving convenience.
Its refined petrol engine, light steering, and smooth CVT or manual gearbox make it ideal for city traffic, while its stable high-speed manners ensure comfort on highways. With fuel efficiency of up to 18.4 km/l and low maintenance needs, the Honda City remains a smart choice for buyers who want long-term reliability without compromising on features.
