Among the best 3-star rating diesel cars in India, only the Kia Carens falls in this category. Most diesel cars in India have either not been tested or come with a higher NCAP rating than 3 stars. So, the Bolero Neo is currently the sole diesel model with a 3-star Global NCAP score. An exception here is the Mahindra Bolero Neo, which has a lower 1-star rating. It must be noted that NCAP tests are done after the launch. Hence, the upcoming 3-star rating diesel cars in India remain unknown.
