Outline

The Nissan Patrol is a legendary nameplate in the Middle East, known for its brute strength, road presence, and ability to conquer both highways and dunes. Now, Nissan is raising the bar once again with the most powerful Patrol ever made—the new Patrol Nismo, created exclusively for the Middle East. Here are the top five things you need to know about this high-performance beast.

Most powerful Patrol ever

At the heart of the new Patrol Nismo is a heavily tuned VR35DDTT 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. Thanks to performance upgrades by Nissan’s motorsport division, Nismo, the engine now delivers a staggering 495PS and 700Nm of torque in Sport Mode. That’s a 70PS increase over the standard version and makes this the most powerful application of the VR35DDTT engine in the world—except for the Middle East that has some tuned Patrols leaving Bugattis and Porsches to eat dust.

Middle-East exclusive

This Patrol Nismo isn’t just another trim upgrade—it was explicitly developed based on customer insights from the Middle East. Everything from the drivetrain to the suspension has been tailored to handle regional conditions, especially high-speed desert driving and dune bashing. The enhanced Nismo-tuned suspension with E-Dampers, along with a recalibrated 9-speed automatic transmission, ensures this SUV handles like no Patrol before it.

Race-ready looks with functional aero

The Patrol Nismo doesn’t just look mean—it has functional aero bodywork as well. The front bumper is designed to funnel cool air directly to the brakes, reducing temperatures by 6%. Grille air curtains, air diffusers, and an extended rear spoiler help improve both aerodynamics and downforce, making the SUV more stable at high speeds. The Formula E-inspired rear fog lamp adds a motorsport touch to the rear profile.

Lightweight 22-Inch RAYS wheels

The Patrol Nismo rides on stunning 22-inch forged aluminum wheels by RAYS, featuring an exclusive 9-spoke design. Not only do they look aggressive, but they’re also 23% lighter than the stock wheels, improving handling and performance. These wheels are wrapped in high-performance tyres designed to grip tarmac or sand with confidence.

Exclusive Middle East launch in July 2025

The new Patrol Nismo will hit showrooms in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other regional markets starting July 2025. It will be available in five exterior colors—White Pearl, Gray Metallic, Blue Metallic, Black Pearl, and a Nismo-exclusive Stealth Gray, each optionally paired with a black roof for a dual-tone finish. The interior continues the theme of boldness with black and red leather, suede, and metallic trim, along with Nismo branding throughout.
