A new media report claims to have revealed the 2025 Tata Safari petrol launch timeline along with other important details. 2025 Tata Safari petrol launch timeline

As per a recent media report by Gaadiwaadi, the Tata Safari petrol launch is set to take place in November 2025. Tata showcased the 1.5-litre T-GDI petrol engine at the 2023 Auto Show but since then, the carmaker has been tight-lipped about its market launch. If this media report is believed to be true, we will get to see the new Safari petrol later this year.

2025 Tata Safari petrol specifications

The 2025 Tata Safari petrol is said to come with the new 1.5-litre T-GDI petrol engine. First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, the carmaker claimed its performance stats to be 168PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. While the powertrain specifications are somewhat revealed, what’s still under the wraps is the transmission options. We expect the Safari petrol transmission options to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

2025 Tata Safari petrol features 

On the features front, the 2025 Tata Safari is likely to pack in the same set of features currently available with the Safari diesel. These include surround view camera, powered and ventilated front seats, Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and more.

2025 Tata Safari petrol price (expected)

Since the petrol engine boasts smaller capacity that are generally cheaper than their diesel counterparts, we expect the Safari petrol to have a lower starting price over its comparative diesel variants. As a result, the 2025 Tata Safari price range could be lowered, thereby making it more affordable for a large pool of customers. Currently, the Tata Safari price ranges between Rs 15.50 lakh and Rs 27.44 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.
