2025 Tesla Model Y colour options — One standard, five optional

Tesla’s first offering—the Model Y—is officially here in India. Brought to the market as a direct import, the Model Y is available in two variants and a total of six colour options. In this article, we share the Tesla Model Y colour options with the prices of the paid options.

Tesla Model Y colour options

Tesla is offering the new Model Y in a total of six colour options that include one standard colour and five paid options. The paid colour options range from Rs 95,000 to Rs 1.85 lakh, in addition to the cost of the Model Y.

• Stealth Grey (standard)
• Pearl White Multi Coat (Rs 95,000)
• Diamond Black (Rs 95,000)
• Glacier Blue (Rs 1.25 lakh)
• Quicksilver (Rs 1.85 lakh)
• Ultra Red (Rs 1.85 lakh)

Tesla Model Y interior colour options

While the Tesla Model Y offers five exterior colour options, the interior colour options are limited to just two. The Tesla Model Y comes with an all-black interior as standard. However, if you wish to spec the optional Black and White interior, Tesla will charge you additional Rs 95,000. 

Tesla Model Y variants, bookings and prices

The Model Y—the best-selling Tesla globally—comes in standard and long-range variants with rear-wheel-drive only. While the RWD variant is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh ex-showroom, the Long Range RWD variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh ex-showroom. Interestingly, Tesla is also offering a Full Self-Driving package—which will be offered via an update in the future—for an additional Rs 6 lakh. Tesla Model Y deliveries are estimated to begin from the third quarter of the year 2025. 

Interested Tesla buyers in India can book the Model Y with a token amount of Rs 22,000. What’s important to note is that the initial payment of Rs 22,000 will be followed by a Rs 3 lakh booking amount, which will be due within 7 days from the date of first booking.

Tesla Model Y battery, performance and range

The Tesla Model Y comes to India with two battery pack options, the capacity of which remains undisclosed at the moment. The Tesla Model Y RWD range stands at 500km (WLTP-certified) whereas the Long Range RWD range stands at 622km (WLTP-certified). Despite having a larger battery capacity, the Long Range offers faster acceleration to 100kmph at 5.6 seconds—0.3 seconds faster than the standard RWD variant.
