The 2026 Honda City facelift has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated sedan is available in four trims: SV, V, ZX, and ZX+. Along with the refreshed exterior design, Honda has also updated the cabin and feature list.
The new City facelift is offered in six exterior colours: Crystal Black Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Grey Metallic.
Under the hood, the 2026 City facelift continues with the same tried-and-tested engine options without any mechanical changes. Alongside the launch of the updated City, Honda also marked the India debut of the all-new Honda ZR-V e:HEV global sporty hybrid SUV.
2026 Honda City facelift exterior — Fresher face, familiar identity

The test mule of the updated City had been spotted a few times before the launch, and those sightings had already hinted at a cleaner front-end treatment. The launch version confirms it: the 2026 City gets a revised grille design, a tweaked bumper layout, new alloy wheel designs, and reworked LED lighting elements that give the new City a sharper, more contemporary look.

The ZX and ZX+ variants also get a front grille-connected centre light bar as a position lamp. The overall silhouette, however, remains the same City that buyers know well, and Honda seems to have made that call deliberately.
New Honda City facelift upgraded cabin and tech

Inside, the layout has been largely retained but with notable additions. The ZX and ZX+ variants now get a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen display audio system with wireless smartphone connectivity, replacing the earlier 8-inch unit. The SV and V variants continue with an 8-inch screen. The ZX+ also gets a 17.7 cm HD full-colour TFT instrument display with a digital speedometer and more information on display at once. Features like a one-touch electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 360-degree surround view camera, and ambient lighting continue to be grade-specific highlights across the range.

Honda Sensing, the brand's ADAS suite, is available from the V variant upward and includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Auto High-Beam, and Lead Car Departure Notification. Six airbags are standard across all variants, which is a welcome inclusion.
Powertrain choices unchanged

Mechanically, the 2026 City facelift carries forward its existing engines without any changes. The 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine produces 121PS and 145Nm and is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT. The hybrid e:HEV variant uses a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine paired with Honda's two-motor system, delivering a combined 126PS and a strong 253Nm of torque. The e:HEV is available only in the ZX+ variant and comes exclusively with an e-CVT.
