Skoda has added the Kylaq Sportline to its India lineup, priced at Rs 11.32 lakh. It sits between the Signature+ and Prestige variants. The Sportline uses the same 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic gearboxes.

The new Kylaq Sportline is priced at Rs 11.32 lakh for the manual and Rs 12.32 lakh for the automatic. There is a Rs 55,000 gap between the Signature+ manual and Sportline manual, while the gap between the Sportline and Prestige is Rs 43,000. For the automatic versions, the Sportline sits Rs 55,000 above the Signature+ and Rs 43,000 below the Prestige.

The Kylaq Sportline follows the same styling approach as the Kushaq and Slavia Sportline variants. It adds several black elements, including the 17-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs, roof, faux skid plates and the Skoda wordmark at the rear. The variant also features a roof spoiler and Sportline badges on the C-pillar and tailgate. The Kylaq Sportline comes with LED fog lamps with cornering function and projector LED headlights. Lower variants use reflector-type units instead.

Inside, the Kylaq Sportline gets a darker cabin with black leatherette seats and white stitching. The headrests carry Sportline branding, while aluminium pedals and white ambient lighting add to the sporty look. Key features include a single-pane sunroof, 10.1-inch touchscreen, 6-speaker audio system, 8-inch digital driver's display and wireless phone charger.

Skoda will also offer a Sportline accessory pack with front bumper garnishes, a dark-chrome grille garnish, fender garnishes with the Skoda logo and gloss-black side mouldings. The price of this pack has not been announced yet.

 

Skoda has also added automatic AC and a rear defogger as standard from the base Classic variant onwards. These features were earlier available only on higher variants.

 

Skoda Kylaq Sportline engine and transmission options

 

The Kylaq Sportline uses the same 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the other variants. It produces 115hp and 178Nm and is available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
