Reason for the recall

As cited by the carmaker on SIAM’s official website, the recalls have been issued due to a fuse box that might not have been reworked correctly, which could cause the connected systems to fail and thus, the vehicle to lose power without warning. This could also cause the instrument cluster to malfunction, and also cause a fire.

What to do?

Mercedes-Benz is expected to call owners of the affected cars to rectify the issue, at no cost to the owners, of course.
