BYD India has launched the new BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition in India. Bookings are now open at a token amount of Rs 70,000. The BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition sticks to its ocean-inspired design language, shaped under the direction of Wolfgang Egger. Step inside and the biggest change is the new Tahiti Blue interior theme, which gives the cabin a premium feel.
On the feature front, it comes loaded with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a four-spoke steering wheel, a digital driver’s display, and a head-up display. You also get a 12-speaker sound system, driver fatigue monitoring, powered front seats, automatic wipers, and ventilated and heated seats. Other highlights include a wireless charger, 128-colour ambient lighting, and a panoramic glass roof, among others.
Some of the key BYD Sealion 7 safety features include 11 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, 360-degree cameras, front and rear parking sensors, and Level-2 ADAS functionalities like lane departure warning, forward collision warning, high-beam assist, blind spot detection, and more.

BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition gets exclusive benefits
Early buyers get more out of the deal. The first 1,100 customers will receive a complimentary 11kW home charger with installation, along with two years of free service and maintenance.
There’s an added edge on the tech side, too. The low-voltage battery uses lithium iron phosphate technology and comes with an extended eight-year or 150,000km warranty, compared to the standard six-year coverage. These benefits are time and volume-bound. They’re limited to the first 1,100 bookings and are valid only until April 30.

BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary battery and range
Both the BYD Sealion 7 variants in India are available with a 82.56kWh battery pack. The electric crossover gets BYD’s signature Blade battery. The BYD Sealion 7 range sits at 567km for the Premium variant, and 542km for the Performance variant. Both these claimed figures are as per NEDC cycle and the BYD Sealion 7 real life range will vary.
BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary price
The BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition doesn’t change the core lineup. It still comes in Premium and Performance trims, priced at Rs 49.40 lakh and Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The real draw is what comes with it. Early buyers get an exclusive set of benefits, as mentioned above.
