With the third-generation model, the Duster is making a full return. The global-spec platform has been developed by Renault and Nissan, and the India-spec model is expected to use the same base with updates tailored for local buyers.

The earlier spied test mule doesn’t reveal much about the SUV. The global model has been on sale for a while. It was earlier expected that the design would be similar to the international look. The teaser, however, shows some differences for India.

Unlike the international version, the Indian teaser of Duster hints at subtle changes. The rear profile glimpse shows an LED DRL strip-like presence in the middle. The Renault logo sits nicely at the centre. The rear wiper is also visible.

At the front, we can see light reflecting off the headlamp covers. The design is likely to follow the Y-shaped pattern seen on the global model. Nothing else has been revealed in the teaser, but we will likely see more details soon.

Compared to the old Renault Duster interior, the third-gen Duster cabin shows a big improvement, designed to match what buyers want today. It features a dual-layered dashboard with a 10.01-inch floating touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital driver display, wireless charging, multi-zone climate control, 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, three-spoke steering wheel, cruise control, and sunroof, among other upgrades.

The new Duster safety features are also expected to be comprehensive, including six airbags, ABS, ESP, Isofix mounts, TPMS, EBD, IRVM, rear parking sensors, and more. Top trims are also anticipated to get ADAS features.
