The Honda ZR-V has officially made its India debut in the strong hybrid SUV segment. It will be offered in a single fully-loaded variant and will serve as Honda’s flagship SUV in the Indian market. The ZR-V will be available in four monotone colour options, with no dual-tone shades on offer.

Honda offers the ZR-V in four exterior shades:

  • Crystal Black Pearl
  • Platinum White Pearl
  • Meteoroid Gray Metallic
  • Twilight Mist Black Pearl

The lighter Platinum White Pearl shade gives the SUV a cleaner premium look, while Crystal Black Pearl and Twilight Mist Black Pearl make the sporty design appear sharper. Meteoroid Gray Metallic sits somewhere in between with a more understated appearance.

Honda ZR-V exterior design

The Honda ZR-V follows a sportier and more athletic design language compared to most Honda SUVs currently on sale. At the front, it gets a large vertical-slat grille, sleek LED headlamps, and sequential turn indicators. The lower bumper design also looks cleaner and more premium rather than rugged.

On the sides, the SUV features body-coloured cladding, sharp character lines, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that add to its sporty stance. At the rear, it gets slim LED tail lamps, a roof spoiler, and dual exhaust finishers.

Powering the ZR-V is a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine paired with Honda’s dual-motor e-hybrid setup. The SUV produces a combined 184PS and 315Nm while offering a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.80kmpl.

Honda claims the hybrid system can switch automatically between EV Drive, Hybrid Drive, and Engine Drive modes depending on driving conditions. The SUV also gets selectable drive modes including Econ, Normal, and Sport.
