Hyundai Motor India has introduced an Assured Buyback Program for the Creta Electric, offering customers an assured 60% buyback value after three years or 45,000km, whichever comes first. The new programme is reduce one of the biggest concerns among EV buyers, uncertainty over resale value.

Under the new programme, Hyundai assures 60% buyback value for the Creta Electric after three years or 45,000km, whichever comes first, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. The scheme gives buyers a clearer idea of the vehicle's future value, reducing uncertainty around resale and making it easier to plan an upgrade.

The buyback programme adds to Hyundai's growing EV ownership ecosystem. Earlier, the company introduced the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option for the Creta Electric, allowing customers to buy the SUV without paying the full battery cost upfront. Under this model, prices start from Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom, excluding the battery, while battery usage charges start at around Rs 3.9 per kilometre.
The Creta Electric is available with two battery options. The 42kWh battery offers an ARAI-certified range of up to 420km, while the 51.4kWh battery delivers up to 510km. The long-range version also gets a more powerful electric motor.

Other features include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Digital Key, Level 2 ADAS and a claimed 0-100kmph time of 7.9 seconds for the long-range variant. Hyundai is also expanding its charging network. Through the myHyundai app, customers can access more than 30,000 charging points across India. The company currently operates 183 DC fast chargers across 105 cities and plans to increase this to 600 chargers by 2030.

The Hyundai Creta Electric is available with 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery pack options across multiple variants. Prices start at Rs 18.02 lakh for the Executive 42kWh variant and go up to Rs 24.70 lakh, ex-showroom, for the Excellence (HC) Dual Tone Knight Edition with the 51.4kWh battery.
