On child occupant protection, it earns 44.46 out of 46, leaving 1.54 points on the table.

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Hyundai Venue scores 15.15 out of 16, while in the side movable deformable barrier test, it achieves a perfect 16 out of 16. Looking closer at the frontal test, the driver receives good protection for the head, neck, feet, and thighs. The chest and lower legs are rated as adequate, which is still a solid result. For the co-driver, protection is strong across almost all body parts, with the lower legs again rated adequate.

The side movable deformable barrier test shows consistently good protection for both occupants. In the side pole impact test, the results are satisfactory, meeting safety expectations.
