Hyundai Verna SX+ variant launched at Rs 13.79 lakh — Now gets wireless connectivity

Hyundai India has launched the new Verna SX+ that introduces key features that were earlier seen only on the higher variants. The new Verna SX+ can be specced with manual and automatic transmission option, with prices starting from Rs 13.79 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. Hyundai Verna SX+ price and features

The newly-launched Verna SX+ variant is slotted between the SX and SX(O) variants and comes with two options — petrol manual at Rs 13.79 lakh and petrol CVT automatic at Rs 15.04 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Coming to the Hyundai Verna SX+ features, the notable ones include LED headlights, eight-speaker Bose sound system, front ventilated and heated seats, leatherette seats and front parking sensors.

Hyundai Verna gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

The Hyundai Verna now gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, via a wired to wireless adapter. This adapter was recently introduced with the Alcazar and slowly, being made available with all the Hyundai offerings. This newly introduced adapter slots into the USB type-A port and seamlessly connects your device to the infotainment system wirelessly.

Hyundai Verna powertrain details

The newly launched Verna SX+ variant is only available with the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It puts out 115PS of power and 144Nm of torque and comes coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT-type automatic transmission. The higher variants of the Verna also offer the option of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque and comes coupled to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
