India-bound 2026 Kia Seltos spied again — Top things to know

In just a few more months, it will be almost 6 years since the Kia Seltos was first launched in India. During this time, the only major update came in July 2023, when it received a facelift. So now, it definitely feels like the right time for a generational update, and the second-gen version is already in the works.

And once again, amidst the testing, fresh new spy shots of the upcoming Kia Seltos have been seen on foreign land. India-bound 2026 Kia Seltos spied 

Over the past few months, sightings and reports have made it pretty evident that the upcoming Kia Seltos exterior will feature a new front fascia. Its new face seems to resemble the Kia Telluride, especially in the grille area. It will come with new headlights and a lower bumper grille with horizontal and vertical slats.

At the rear, although much of it is still camouflaged, we can clearly see the changes, including a C-shaped taillight. However, it’s still unclear whether the taillights are connected due to the cover. The car is also expected to come with a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels.
 

Along with these sightings, render images of the 2026 Kia Seltos have also come up online recently. These give a rough idea of how the model might look without camouflage. But clearly, these are not the final design versions—they’re just based on the spied details seen so far.

Next-gen Kia Seltos interior — What's new?

The next-gen Seltos interior spy shots haven’t been as frequent as the exterior ones, but it’s clear that it will come with a new dashboard. Inside, we can expect a well-equipped layout along with decent space for its segment.

2026 Kia Seltos features

When it comes to the next-gen Kia Seltos features, it is expected to offer a triple-screen setup—one for infotainment, one for the digital driver display, and the third for the AC controls. Apart from this, the upcoming Seltos feature list is also expected to include ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, multiple speakers, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, powered driver's seat, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and a few more additions.

As for the next-gen Kia Seltos safety features, it is expected to come with six standard airbags, parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, TPMS, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and a few more additions.

Upcoming Kia Seltos engine specs

The upcoming Kia Seltos engine options are expected to remain the same as the outgoing model. It will likely continue to be available with a 1.5L petrol engine, a 1.5L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel engine.

Next-gen Kia Seltos India launch date

The next-gen Kia Seltos launch date in India hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but with the ongoing testing and frequent sightings, it is expected to take place sometime later this year. Once launched, the next-gen Seltos will continue to compete with other rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, among others.

Upcoming 2026 Kia Seltos price

Currently, the outgoing Seltos is priced between Rs 11.19 lakh and Rs 20.56 lakh. However, with the upcoming generational update, the price is expected to increase, ranging between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 22 lakh.
