Kia Clavis HTX(O) launched at Rs 16.28 lakh — New seating option added to select trims

Kia has recently made some updates to the Kia Clavis variant lineup, introducing a new variant called the HTX(O). This variant now sits above the HTX in the lineup, expanding the trim options for buyers. Alongside the new variant, the manufacturer has also introduced a 6-seater layout across select trims. Previously, this option was limited to the top-spec HTX+ Turbo petrol trims, but now it’s available on more trims lower down the range.

2025 Kia Clavis HTX(O) features

The Kia Clavis new variant, HTX(O), is offered exclusively in a 6-seater layout. On the cosmetic front, this trim looks exactly like the HTX.

That said, the new Clavis HTX(O) features list is quite extensive. It skips a few top-end features like Level 2 ADAS and front ventilated seats but still packs in plenty of useful equipment. Highlights include a Smart Dashcam with Dual Camera and Mobile App support (available on MT/iMT), a Walk-in Lever for easier access to the third row, and several other convenience features. As detailed in the table above, this variant offers a strong balance of comfort and practicality.

New Kia Clavis HTX(O) engine specs

The Kia Clavis HTX(O) is available exclusively with a 1.5L turbo petrol engine that produces 159.75 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. It’s paired solely with a 7DCT gearbox.

Kia Clavis 6-seater is no longer just a top-trim feature...

The Kia Clavis HTE, HTE (O), HTK, and HTX trims come exclusively with a 7-seater option. Alongside these, Kia has introduced a 6-seater option on the HTK+ trims, available with either the 7DCT or 6AT gearbox. The same HTK+ variant with the 6-speed manual gearbox, however, is offered only with a 7-seater layout.

For the Clavis HTK+(O), the 7DCT variant offers both 6-seater and 7-seater options, while the 6-speed manual version is limited to the 7-seater configuration. The newly introduced HTX(O) comes only with the 6-seater layout.
