The Kia Sorento dashboard gets a curved display that combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen into a single unit. This layout is similar to Kia’s latest global models and gives the cabin a cleaner, more modern design. The multifunction steering wheel gets black paddle shifters and controls for ADAS, audio, phone connectivity and instrument cluster settings. The steering wheel appears to have manual adjustment, operated through a conventional lever.

Below the infotainment screen, the digital climate control panel gets two rotary dials, likely for temperature and fan-speed adjustment. The Sorento also gets a Bose sound system, with branded speakers visible on the doors. Other visible features include Auto Start/Stop, 360-degree camera shortcut, cupholders and a foldable front centre armrest with storage underneath.

The latest spy shots reveal a well-equipped second row. The India-spec Kia Sorento seen in the images gets captain seats, suggesting that Kia could offer both six- and seven-seat configurations. The second-row seats get ventilation, sliding and reclining functions. Rear passengers can also use Boss Mode, which allows them to electrically adjust the front passenger seat for additional legroom.

These spy shots follow shortly after Kia India officially confirmed that the Sorento will become its first hybrid SUV for the Indian market, a confirmation that came alongside the opening of official pre-bookings for the model. While Kia has not yet announced technical specifications, the India-spec Sorento is expected to be powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol strong-hybrid powertrain. In overseas markets, this setup develops around 238hp and 380Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
