Outline

Mahindra has revised the Thar Roxx prices once again and this time the hikes are more significant than what we saw at the start of the year. This is the second price revision for the Thar Roxx in 2026. The first round of hikes came in January 2026 when prices went up by Rs 12,300 to Rs 20,600 across variants.

This new revision pushes prices higher across almost the entire lineup. Only one variant escapes the hike completely and that is the diesel 2WD AX7L automatic (152PS) which stays at its existing price. The biggest hike of Rs 56,500 goes to the diesel 4WD AX7L automatic in the 175PS tune. The smallest increase of just Rs 500 falls on the base petrol manual MX1 2WD. All other variants sit somewhere in between. Here is the full breakdown.

Across the petrol lineup, the hikes are noticeably steeper on the automatic variants compared to the manual. The MX1 manual gets away with a Rs 500 bump but the MX5 manual still receives a jump of Rs 31,800. Among the automatics, the MX5 AT takes the biggest hit at Rs 34,500 more than before. The AX7L petrol automatic which is the top petrol variant now sits just Rs 500 below the Rs 20 lakh mark at Rs 19,99,500.

The diesel range shows the widest range of hikes in this revision. The AX7L 4WD diesel manual is the hardest hit in this entire group with a Rs 58,500 increase taking it to Rs 21,43,500. The MX5 4WD manual also sees a steep jump of Rs 55,500 pushing it past the Rs 19 lakh mark.

On the other end, the AX7L 2WD diesel manual gets away with just a Rs 13,500 hike. The one variant that has been completely spared is the AX7L 2WD diesel automatic at 152PS. Its price stays at Rs 19,99,900, unchanged from before. Whether this was a deliberate strategic call to keep it below the psychological Rs 20 lakh mark is open to interpretation but it is the only variant in the entire lineup that buyers can still get at the pre-hike price.
