Mahindra’s first two electric SUVs in India — XEV 9e and BE 6 — come with options for the battery packs — 59kWh and 79kWh. The latter was restricted to the fully-loaded top variants of both cars, until now. Mahindra is now offering the bigger battery pack from the mid-spec Pack Two variant for both the SUVs. As per the MIDC testing cycles, the claimed range for the Mahindra XEV 9e stands at 542 kilometres with the 59kWh battery pack, and 656 kilometres with the 79kWh battery pack.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 delivery timelines

 

Deliveries for the Pack Three variants of both the SUVs have already commenced. The Pack Two deliveries will begin from the end of this month, while Pack One customers will have to wait another month.
