The all-new Maruti Suzuki e Vitara crash test report by Bharat NCAP is out, and the results are impressive. This model has secured a full 5-star rating, making it the second Maruti vehicle after the Dzire to achieve this distinction. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara scored an impressive 31.49 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection. In crash tests, the dummies showed adequate to good protection in the frontal offset deformable barrier, while protection was rated good in both the side movable deformable barrier and side pole impact tests.

Breaking it down, the vehicle scored 15.49 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test and a perfect 16 out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test. These results highlight how well the e-Vitara manages forces in both frontal and side collisions, keeping occupants secure.

The Maruti e Vitara child occupant protection tests break down into three key areas. It achieved a perfect 24 out of 24 in the dynamic test, showing excellent performance in crash simulations. The CRS installation score was also flawless at 12 out of 12, indicating that child seats can be securely fitted. In the vehicle assessment, it scored 7 out of 13 reflecting how the car’s interior and features contribute to overall child safety.

The Maruti e Vitara comes with a solid set of standard safety features, including seven airbags, ISOFIX anchors, ABS with EBD, electronic parking brake, electronic stability control, parking sensors, seatbelt reminders, pedestrian protection, and hill hold assist. On higher trims, the safety package expands further with a Level 2 ADAS suite, adding advanced systems like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, adaptive high beam, blind spot monitoring, and more.
