The mini segment saw a sharp 31.73% dip, compact cars declined by 15.42%, utility vehicles were down 8.45%, and vans slipped by 13.28%—marking a broad drop. However, bucking the trend was the Ciaz, which recorded a surprising comeback. With 1,028 units sold in June 2025—up from 572 units in June 2024—it posted a 79.72% increase.
In terms of domestic numbers, Maruti Suzuki domestic sales excluding sales to OEM stood at 1,21,339 units, down 13.28% from 1,39,918 units in June 2024. Meanwhile, sales to OEM saw a modest rise, increasing by 535 units to reach 8,812.

That said, the quarterly numbers bring a slightly optimistic outlook. Sales between Apr–Jun FY 2025–2026 saw an upward trend with 5,993 more units sold, totalling 5,27,861 units, compared to 5,21,868 units in the same period of FY 2024–2025.
