MG Motor India is all set to launch the second model for its premium MG Select brand—the Cyberster. After the recently launched M9 electric MPV, the Cyberster electric convertible sports car is set to be launched tomorrow. MG Cyberster India launch tomorrow

 

MG Motor India will launch the Cyberster on July 25, 2025, that is tomorrow. MG first showcased the Cyberster at the announcement of its merger with JSW Group and opened its bookings after the showcase at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025 against a token amount of Rs 51,000. The Cyberster and the M9 will go on sale in 13 cities via 14 exclusive showrooms, which will be expanded further in the coming years.

MG Cyberster design and features

 

The MG Cyberster comes in a unique 2 door coupe bodystyle along with a convertible soft-top roof. The biggest highlight of the Cyberster is its powered scissor doors, which can be opened and closed with just one press of a button. Other details of the Cyberster include sleek LED headlights, machined dual-tone alloy wheels, and arrow shaped LED tail lights.

On the inside, the Cyberster comes with a tri-screen setup along with a 7-inch touchscreen in the centre. Given its sporty appearance, everything is centred towards the driver, who operates the car with a stubby steering wheel, while curled up in sporty leather seats. On the features front, the Cyberster offers ADAS capabilities, surround view camera, drive modes, powered seats and a lot more.

 

MG Cyberster powertrain details

 

While the Cyberster is offered with two power outputs in the global market, the India-spec version of the Cyberster gets the more powerful dual-motor setup that claims a maximum power output of 510PS and 725Nm of torque. It gets a front double wishbone and a rear five-link independent suspension. And it’s fast, with a claimed 0-100kmph time of 3.2 seconds. The car comes equipped with a large 77kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 443 kilometres.
