First Jeep to use Stellantis’ new hybrid setup

The new Cherokee becomes the first model to feature Stellantis’ freshly developed hybrid powertrain. The hybrid setup combines a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 213PS and 312Nm. While Jeep hasn’t shared figures for battery capacity or motor specifics, it has claimed the SUV can travel over 800km on a single tank of petrol.
