Honda India has updated prices for both the new-generation Amaze and the older model. The newer generation has received a price hike, which was expected. What’s interesting is that the company has strategically lowered prices for the older generation. There are also select trims that remain unaffected by any change.

The new-generation Honda Amaze trims — V MT, V CVT, VX MT, VX CVT, and ZX MT — have all received a uniform price hike of Rs 6,990. The ZX CVT is the only trim whose price remains unchanged, continuing to sit at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.99 lakh.

The old-generation Honda Amaze is available only in a single variant, the S. It comes with two transmission options — manual and CVT automatic — both paired with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque.

 

Honda has kept the Amaze S CVT price unchanged, but the S MT has seen a significant drop of Rs 98,700.

The Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, available with either a 5-speed manual or a smooth 7-step CVT gearbox. It delivers 90PS of power and 112Nm of torque. As per ARAI ratings, the Honda Amaze mileage is 18.65 kmpl with the manual gearbox, while the Honda Amaze CVT mileage goes up to 19.46 kmpl.
