The new gen Kia Seltos is here, offered in five trims: HTE, HTK, HTX, GTX, and X-Line. The exterior has received a noticeable update including a redesigned front fascia and more confident stance. Under the hood, Kia continues with the same options as the predecessor.
Inside, the cabin is updated but still feels familiar if you’ve experienced its sibling. The next gen Kia Seltos also comes packed with features with key highlights including the Command-Centric Trinity Panoramic Display, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS with 21 autonomous features. Safety has also been a priority, with 24 standard safety features across the range.

New Kia Seltos design — How much has changed?
The carmaker has done notable work on the new Seltos, giving its design a closer alignment with its international siblings. Highlights include a digital tiger face with the iconic tiger nose grille, ice cube LED projection headlamps with star map LED DRLs, flush-type door handles, 18-inch sporty crystal-cut alloy wheels with neon brake callipers, and star map LED Connect tail lamps.
The 2026 Kia Seltos dimensions have increased, now measuring 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. The new Seltos boot space has also grown by 14 litres, now offering 447 litres.

2026 Kia Seltos features
The next-gen Seltos gets an updated cabin with a refreshed dashboard, and you can see the popular connected-screen layout here as well. The interior takes clear inspiration from the sibling Kia Carens and Clavis models.
On the features front, the new Seltos features list has grown. It now includes a panoramic display with twin 12.3-inch screens, central console with an armrest and cupholders, dual-zone automatic climate control, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, 8 speaker Bose system, second-row 60:40 split with a recline function, ventilated front seats, 10-way power driver seat, driver-seat welcome retract, wireless charging, auto-reverse ORVMs, and more.
Safety is well covered too. Seltos comes with six airbags (standard), all-wheel disc brakes, rear parking sensors, and a range of other essentials. The Level 2 ADAS suite packs 21 features, including smart cruise control with stop and go, front collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, parking collision-avoidance assist in reverse, and an SVM with a blind-view monitor.

The 2026 Kia Seltos carries over the same engine options as its predecessor. The 1.5L petrol comes with a 6-speed manual or CVT. The 1.5L turbo petrol is available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. The 1.5L diesel can be paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
Next gen Kia Seltos price & rivals
The new Kia Seltos price is scheduled to be revealed on 2nd January 2026. The predecessor was priced between Rs 10.79 lakh and Rs 19.81 lakh. The new Seltos ex-showroom price is expected to increase, likely landing between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 22 lakh.
