The new Renault Duster launch date is set for 17 March. On the same day, the new Duster full price list is also expected to be revealed. Underneath, the SUV is built on the Renault Group Modular Platform, or RGMP. This is an India-specific, heavily localised version of the global CMF-B architecture developed by Renault Group.
New Renault Duster design & features

The 2026 Renault Duster has full LED headlights and DRLs, DUSTER lettering on the front, chunky bumpers with silver skid plates, V-shaped LED tail lamps, a horizontal rear light bar, roof rails, a rear wiper, and 18-inch black alloy wheels. Ground clearance is 212 mm.
Inside, it has a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 10.24-inch digital cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone AC, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and ventilated powered front seats.
The boot offers 518L up to the parcel shelf and 700L to the roof. Safety includes six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise, 360-deg camera, emergency braking, and lane keep assist, among others.

The 2026 Renault Duster comes with two petrol engines. A 1.0-litre turbo produces 100PS and 160Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual. A 1.3-litre turbo delivers 163PS and 280Nm, available only with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Additionally, the 2026 Renault Duster will have a strong-hybrid petrol engine. It uses a 1.8L petrol engine with two electric motors, one 20PS generator and one 49PS motor driving the wheels. Together, they produce 160hp and 172Nm, with a 1.4kWh battery. The SUV can run on electric power at low speeds and uses regenerative braking. Renault says about 80% of city driving can be done in electric mode.

Renault has opened pre-bookings for the new Renault Duster in India. While the exact variants are not yet revealed, buyers can reserve a spot by choosing their preferred engine. The available options are the 1.0L turbo-petrol (TCe 100), the 1.3L turbo-petrol (TCe 160), and the 1.8L strong-hybrid E-Tech. The 2026 Renault Duster will have different delivery timelines based on the engine. According to the Renault Duster delivery timeline, turbo-petrol variants are expected to start arriving around mid-April, while the strong-hybrid version will take longer, with deliveries planned around Diwali on November 8, 2026.

The new Renault Duster price is expected to be revealed in March. While the official figures are still awaited, early estimates suggest it will fall in the Rs 10 lakh to 20 lakh range. At launch, the Duster will compete directly with rivals like the Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Toyota Hyryder.
