Along with its domestic sales, Nissan has started exporting the Tekton. The first batch of more than 1,300 units has been sent to South Africa, Bhutan and Nepal. This is the first step in the SUV’s international rollout under Nissan’s “One Car. One World” plan, which aims to sell India-made vehicles in global markets with the same quality standards.

Nissan India Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa said the Tekton has received a good response and helped the company’s domestic wholesale numbers in August. He also said the exports show the quality and competitiveness of vehicles made in India.
